Asterix & Obelix: Slap Them All! it is a game of contrasts. If you look at it as a tribute to the comics of Uderzo and Goscinny, it has a lot of charm; if you look at it as beat'em up, it looks like a Gaul who has forgotten to take the magic potion before messing with a Roman.

‎A good collection of mental agility tests, with which to put in shape the different areas of our brain. Regarding the games that came out on Nintendo DS, Wii and Wii U, it incorporates multiplayer modes, both local (4 players in TV mode and 2 in portable mode) and online against "ghosts" of other players.‎

‎Twogether is a great debut work for Flaming Llama. An adventure that surprises by the ingenious approach of its puzzles and the combination of two characters. However, it is only one chapter, and has a very limited duration. We would also have liked more variety in the design of the rooms and the traps.‎

‎That such a project (so inspired by the love of retro) goes ahead is always a joy. The game itself blames certain imbalances in the difficulty curve and becomes somewhat short, but it is undoubtedly agile, friendly and direct, in the style of those arcades that stole the fourth decades ago, without it "hurting" us to empty the wallet.‎

‎Without revolutionizing the genre, Ruined King: A League of Legends Story does everything it sets out to do very well. In this way, it will please both MOBA fans and those looking for a complete and content-packed turn-driven RPG.‎

‎If you are looking for an adventure for a player, that young and old can enjoy, it is one of the best options you will find this Christmas. It is not very original and always goes on insurance, but its pleasant and entertaining development and great dubbing invite you to continue playing. On Switch it has slight frame petardeos, but it is perfectly playable.‎

‎Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shiny Pearl are two pretty good remakes that will especially please those who did not know the originals. On the contrary, veterans may miss more news and, in particular, the changes introduced by Pokémon Platinum.‎

‎We must recognize the first great DLC of Far Cry 6 the effort to offer something different, and from the eyes of one of its most remembered villains. The roguelite mechanics fit well, although you may not like everyone because of the repetition and difficulty. Its small world and little variety situations make it feel like a missed opportunity.‎

‎GTA Trilogy on Nintendo Switch has problems like the rest of the versions, from an unstable frame rate to a noticeable popping or blurrier graphics playing in the dock, but they are still three great adventures like the cup of a pine, with slight improvements, which are highly enjoyable in portable mode.‎

‎Jurassic World Evolution 2 is bigger and better in every way, even if it looks more like a definitive edition than a sequel. Their campaign doesn't take advantage of the premise of containing wild dinosaurs, and you'll spend most of your time in Nublar and Sorna. But perfect the gameplay with a huge amount of content and that's more than enough.‎

‎The nostalgic value of this collection is beyond doubt, they are three masterpieces that today are still very funny (and with a sensational script), but this remastering has fallen short in many aspects, and has technical flaws.‎

84 / 100 - Battlefield 2042
Nov 11, 2021

‎Battlefield 2042 dispenses with the campaign and sticks to what it does best: a deep and very fun multiplayer mode. The figure of 128 players (on PC and next gen) ensures the most spectacular battles of the saga, and we love the winks of Battlefield Portal to the previous installments. The analyzed version had some minor bugs.‎

‎The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition commemorates the tenth anniversary of one of the best games in history with even more content. It is so big that there will be those who can live without these additions, but for those who have never played it or want to dedicate another 500 hours to it, this is undoubtedly the most complete version to date.‎

‎Happy Home Paradise is the answer for those who feel fatigued by Animal Crossing New Horizons. It has a rhythm and a premise that stimulates creativity and generates satisfaction more quickly than the base game, but it is still a relaxing experience that each player will make their own, practically inexhaustible and full of charm and surprises.‎

Even failing at "showing World Wart Two like never before", Call of Duty Vanguard is a great FPS. Campaign is full of epic (and some dramatic) moments, multiplayer is fun and fast, and includes 16 maps (twice as the previous Call of Duty game) with plenty of modes and progression elements, and the new zombies mode is incredibly fun.

97 / 100 - Forza Horizon 5
Nov 4, 2021

‎Forza Horizon 5 is the best open-world driving game in history and one of the best in the global speed genre. Playground Games has been overcome again with a varied 'crossover' in which each kilometer traveled is worth its weight in fun and spectacularity.‎

Shin Megami Tensei V trascends divinity achieving a perfect balance between heaven and hell: it's and ode to the classics, to those JRPG's that weren't afraid of being complex and challenging, but it's also a modern game, adapted to current times and trends..

83 / 100 - Riders Republic
Oct 31, 2021

Riders Republic is a little surprise, an extreme sports game that pick ups elements from the legends of the genre and apply them to a huge open world, more social oriented, but without losing the focus on the fun part. It's far from perfect, but at least try to do something different... despite the micropayments.

It keeps the charm of the franchise while offering some interesting moments, but it can't hide the fact that graphics and some gameplay elements are outdated. If you are looking for a plain and simple survival horror experience, you will probable be satisfied with this one.

A hilarious revival of N64 and GC board games and mini-games that proves Nintendo listened to the feedback received after the previous Switch release. Whether you play with friends and family, or via Online, you'll have a blast. Alone, against the AI, you'll have fun with the mini-games, but the board mechanics will bore you.
