75 / 100 - Wild Hearts
Jul 25, 2025

Wild Hearts S breaks the streak of good ports for Nintendo Switch 2 with a title that gives a good and a bad touch: it improves performance compared to what was seen on other platforms, even without reaching 60 fixed fps (30 on portable, 40-60 on dock), at the cost of a significant graphical drop that can be an impediment for some players.

Super Mario Party Jamboree + Jamboree TV is Nintendo's most complete party game, but it debuts on Nintendo Switch 2 with some qualms and questionable decisions, such as a lack of technical improvements to the Switch game or an overly limited GameShare option. But make no mistake: it's still the party king.

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers does a lot of things right and manages to stand out in a genre as crowded as souls-like games, but it also tries to take on too much, and that ends up costing it. In any case, fans of the genre (and especially of games like Bloodborne, Sekiro, or even Black Myth: Wukong) shouldn't hesitate.

82 / 100 - Luto
Jul 21, 2025

A new example of Spanish creativity in horror games. It brings some great ideas to the table and executes them successfully within an original and engaging setting. It only falters in some unbalanced puzzles and, perhaps, in becoming too "iconoclastic" in the final stretch.

RoboCop: Rogue City Unfinished Business feels just as fun as the first game, offering interesting additions that reinforce the affection for the 1980s cyborg cop. However, the feeling of repetition and lack of variety persists despite the new features. Furthermore, its technical glitches and bugs hinder the final result more than necessary.

85 / 100 - Shadow Labyrinth
Jul 17, 2025

Although Pac-Man has starred in games across a wide variety of genres, in 2025 he adds another notch to his revolver: his first Metroidvania succeeds in combining the foundations of the genre with ideas from Toru Iwatani's creation and souls-like touches. The result is an entertaining, enjoyable game that's hard to put down. And it also comes with a free upgrade to Switch 2.

As the song goes, "Donkey Kong is here," and he's here ready to rock the boat. The gorilla's new adventure boasts of being one of the first must-have games for Nintendo Switch 2 and a title on par with the Japanese company's greatest series. This is the kind of "Kong content" that deserves a new console.

If you're going to play it on Nintendo Switch, make sure you do so in handheld mode and without Bluetooth headphones: that way you'll enjoy two unique rhythm and action gems just as their creators intended. It's a shame that input lag calibration on the TV is so archaic, so trial and error, because it can easily drive you crazy...

84 / 100 - Ready or Not
Jul 14, 2025

Ready or Not is a first-person shooter that hits the mark, offering a realistic and gruesome take on the criminal underworld. Its varied and numerous missions will keep you glued to the controller in this PS5 and Xbox Series X|S version, which establishes itself as a solid port for one of the games that has most refreshed the genre recently.

With its numerous improvements, Death Stranding 2 finds the ideal balance between stick and rope, between shooting and walking, between action and infiltration. Hideo Kojima thus comes full circle, completing the game he wasn't allowed to finish 10 years ago.

We already applaud Sloclap's approach to offering football matches that are out of the ordinary. When they work, they're irresistible, but the catalog of options needs more depth and more robust online servers.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess for Nintendo Switch 2 is a remarkable port of one of 2024's hidden gems and one of Capcom's most distinctive games. While there are some graphical and optimization cutbacks, the action-strategy offering is just as enjoyable as on other platforms.

Atlus's archaeological work brings back a gem from the PS2 era. Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army is the definitive version of the classic, an excellent remaster that preserves everything that made the original game special. A must-have for Megami Tensei fans and anyone looking to delve deeper into the series

74 / 100 - FBC: Firebreak
Jun 17, 2025

FBC Firebreak is a multiplayer game with good ideas and a great setting that brings back the Control universe. Despite some inaccuracies and the possibility of more content, what it offers brings a touch of freshness to the co-op genre with friends. It's not crazy, but it's not your typical first-person shooter either, thankfully.

90 / 100 - Fast Fusion
Jun 8, 2025

An outstanding speed game that, while not the most comprehensive in the world in terms of modes and options, offers a torrent of speed and adrenaline for very little money, and with interesting options like GameShare. Without a doubt, one of the first Switch 2 must-haves.

Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma manages to make the sum of its parts evolve a series with several palpable problems. Some of those hurdles remain, but for those looking for a content-packed management and combat game, this is a worthy representative... as long as you can overlook the poor technical aspects.

Rita's Revenge is both a great beat 'em up and one of the best games based on the series. It could be criticized for being a bit short or for having more enemy variety, but its vehicle-based levels, 6-player co-op, and the thorough use of the original source material give it an edge that few Power Rangers games possess.

The Siege and the Sandfox is a unique combination of metroidvania and stealth, boasting some great ideas, but the poor execution of several of its elements results in a rather gritty mix.

Elden Ring Nightreign may be the hardest game FromSoftware has ever made, but not because of its massive bosses or all the mechanics you need to understand to beat the games, but because to enjoy it properly you need to have friends; friends who are crazy about Souls.
