Rugby 20 has some good things going for it, but it’s just not quite ready to be a major player in the sports gaming market.
AO Tennis 2 is definitely a step up from the first game, but there’s still a lot that can be done to make the series a must-have for tennis fans, let alone sports fans.
If you don’t want to pay $60 for NHL 20, or want a replacement for GM Connected, this game is a nice alternative. While it has some flaws, FHM 6 certainly has a lot to offer.
This double downs if you’re a fan of the aforementioned ‘Fast & Furious’ films, but if you’re not, skip the dialogue and enjoying the race like its 2005 again.
There’s so much potential sitting there with the series, it just needs some heavy pressure to become the diamond it hopes to become. Hopefully, with the hype the game has generated, it can get the investments needed to make a bigger step forward in 2020.
WWE 2K20 is one of the most broken games in the franchise, and it shows.
It’s an arcade game made to be accessible to anyone, wrestling fan or not. This is evident in its design and stylization. The lack of game modes may be a detriment for many and really hurts the longevity of such a game, but the controls are solid and the game runs beautifully. There’s not much more one can ask for in an arcade experience.
The Fisherman Fishing Planet is by far one of the most in-depth video games I have ever played. The level of customization for your tools is amazing and the graphics and attention to detail for the fish is a sight to behold. But, the problem with the game is that it feels like the developers brought over a PC sensation for their PC followers.
Grid is its own creation, but players will see the slight resemblance of other racing games and appreciate the newest installment in the genre of Motorsports Racing. Patience is key to get a true and enjoyable racing experience from GRID, but if you are short on that be prepared to miss out on a very good title.
Axis Football as a franchise has so much potential to be a great indie series, but with so limited on-field changes between 18 and 19, it feels more like a lost year than anything else.
