After pushing through the first two hours of few interesting upgrades or weapons, The Mummy Demastered becomes an above-average title that tickles the fancy of those missing classic Metroid gameplay. It's not perfect, but certainly enough to whet the appetite of metroidvania fans.
Part tabletop adventure, part third-person combat, <em>Hand of Fate 2</em> is an unusual amalgamation which successfully manages to let you tailor and experience a multitude of quests. Improving upon the original with more focused direction, customisation and improved combat flow, RPG and "choose your own adventure" fans should certainly take a look.

Aven Colony is a solid, enjoyable city builder with a number of interesting and difficult mechanics that will make or break the experience depending on whether you're looking for a peaceful builder (Sim City) or enjoy the occasional challenge (Banished).
For franchise fans, this is a no-brainer, capturing the feel of the AoT world and its messy, visceral combat. For everyone else, this is a maybe; combat is fluid and takedowns are satisfying, but gameplay can get monotonous. Try before you buy.
Brut@l helps fill the void of roguelikes available on the PlayStation 4, though the lack of persistent upgrades makes Brut@l more of a game meant to be played in short bursts rather than working on a long-term improvement and domination. The solid gameplay and easy learning curve make Brut@l a strong introduction to roguelikes, though experienced dungeoneers may find it too shallow.
Sudden Strike 4 is that grizzled veteran you sometimes see downtown — stubborn and tough to warm up to, but full of rich tales and a welcome new friend for those willing to put the work in. Perhaps a little too tough for casual RTS players, but WWII aficionados and hardcore RTSers will find plenty to love.
For fans of hardcore games such as Super Meat Boy or I Wanna Be The Guy, 10 Second Ninja X is a fantastic game. The short bursts of gameplay make 10SNX great for people with limited time, but the difficulty won't be for everyone; grab the demo first if you're new to hardcore platformers.
Great for bite-sized gameplay, Moonlighter is one of the most polished and well-tuned shop simulator/dungeon diving roguelites we've played in a long time. While the repetitive mechanics can become tiresome if playing for hours at a time, tackling the game in small chunks is a satisfying experience, and we'd recommend it as a casual game for most players.
Fun as a jump-in, jump-out title, Zombie Party is best played as couch co-op. Fans of twin stick shooters will appreciate the depth, but for the online multiplayer this zombie bites off a little more than it can chew.
Phantom Doctrine offers a fascinating tale of secrets and subterfuge, though you'll need to be willing to butt heads with punishing difficult to enjoy it all the way through. Veterans of turn-based tacticals who are looking for a new challenge would do well to check this one out.
If you can look beyond the overly sexual design of the main character, you'll find an enjoyable and challenging game for fans of the puzzle and platforming genres.
If you're seeking an interesting space sandbox which offers a new take on core mechanics, Starpoint Gemini Warlords is a solid contender. If, however, you're looking for thrilling, dynamic space battles you'll be better off checking elsewhere.

Super Seducer serves as a solid base for newcomers who may have heard about pick-up or are frustrated with their current attempts at finding the right girl.
RIVE blends twin-stick shooting and platforming exceptionally well. It's full of beautifully crafted levels and enjoyable one-liners. Unfortunately, brutal difficulty accompanies these elements, and it's not the kind of difficulty that makes you feel good about yourself.
