Detroit’s ability to manipulate human emotion which causes it to become a truly memorable experience. The game will present you with a selection of imperfect options, and plenty of your choices will leave you questioning your personal ethics. Detroit: Become Human is intelligent sci-fi at its finest.

Assassin’s Creed: Rogue’s initial release on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 was significantly overshadowed by the simultaneous release of Assassin’s Creed: Unity as naturally, the greater part of players turned to the game released on next gen consoles (at the time). That said, many never embarked upon Shay’s journey, including myself making the remastering of this title a divine opportunity to fill in some blanks for presumably, a vast portion of Assassin’s Creed players.

8.5 / 10.0 - Kona
Jun 19, 2018

I'm very conscious of spoiling anything should you decide to hit the buy button on the PlayStation Store, but I can say without question that I highly recommend you giving Kona a chance should you own a PSVR. I'm not sure how it plays without the headset, but with it, this is one of the best experiences I've enjoyed to date.

8.5 / 10.0 - The Long Dark
Sep 16, 2018

The Long Dark is a well cultivated survival game with an enthralling story mode heavily influenced by the early access survival mode which granted the game success back in 2014. The Long Dark beautifully pairs together intense survival an intriguing story resulting in an entrancing and addictive experience. With more content to come in future The Lone Dark is rewarding and enjoyable game, one that makes it worth struggling through those long cold nights.

Its stories are touching and poignant and its puzzles are well designed while not being overly difficult. The games control scheme is great, never cumbersome and it’s locations beautifully realized. I am not a fan of overly emotional games or puzzle games but this title really engulfed me, it’s a pleasure to play and everyone who has a PSVR headset should play it. I cannot find anything bad to say about it really, and that is a truly rare occurrence.

8.5 / 10.0 - Moonlighter
Nov 10, 2018

Graphics are the main standout feature of indie game and the games unique visual style leaves a strong impression on the player. The narrative whilst simplistic is endearing and the concept stands out as memorable and unique, Moonlighter is a intriguing and clever approach at the action adventure genre and one which will have no trouble standing out.

Life is Strange 2: Episode 1 is all about the story. You shouldn’t really come into this expecting an experience heavy on gameplay, because if you are then it won’t be for you. Episode 1: Roads is a tale of brotherhood and education, with both siblings supporting and growing from each other. This is only the beginning though and based on what’s come so far it’s only going to get a lot better.

If you are returning for a second time the improvements are enough to warrant a second playthrough and if not, all new players will benefit from the quality of life improvements. It may feel a bit old in comparison to newer looter-shooters but its beautiful simplicity is what started it all. Its price tag is quite fair so I can recommend it to anyone who wants to loot or shoot stuff.

8 / 10.0 - Crackdown 3
Feb 14, 2019

My review of Crackdown 3 started with a negative, however much like the game, the further you get into it, the more you’ll begin to understand the point. Crackdown 3 may not be the prettiest game in the world, but the longer I’ve spent with it, the more I’ve come to love it.

8 / 10.0 - Esper 2 (VR)
Jul 4, 2018

Esper may only be around two hours long, but it feels perfect for PlayStation VR. It’s tricky, but at the same time a lot of fun too. It also looks fantastic and works perfectly with either the DualShock 4 or PlayStation Move controller. It’s fair to say if you are looking for a puzzler on PlayStation VR then you won’t go wrong with Esper.

8 / 10.0 - Last Day of June
Sep 18, 2017

True to the success of recent emotional indie games, Last Day of June is a bit like a playable version of Disney’s heart-wrenching film UP. A puzzle adventure game which incorporates the ability to rewind time and fix your mistakes, Last Day of June is certainty an experience.

8 / 10.0 - Observer

It’s not perfect by any means but it is like no other game on the Nintendo Switch and it’s worth your time and money.

Since gracing the screens of the 3DS way back in 2012, Resident Evil Revelations has been one of the most anticipated Resident Evil games to receive a HD Remaster for PS4 this year. Following in the footsteps of the other Resident Evil games, Revelations follows series regulars and fan favourites Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield as they explore a terrorist hideaway and the biological organic weaponry (B.O.W) that has been created on an abandoned cruise ship, The Queen Zenobia.

8 / 10.0 - Hob
Oct 9, 2017

There’s an awful lot of depth to Runic Games’ action adventure indie game, Hob. Exploration of the huge steampunk-inspired world is exceptionally rewarding: secret rooms can be discovered, shortcuts can be accessed and mysterious green orbs hide in machines and tiny crevices which allow you to level up.

Overall the new dynamic of cooperative puzzle solving is something that slots nicely into the gameplay of Little Nightmares. The hour-long DLC explores the lives and origins of the Nomes whilst still incorporating the eerie and unsettling feel of the Little Nightmares game.

In the first extensive DLC release of Sledgehammer Game’s Call Of Duty: WWII, the developers spoil us with three new multiplayer maps (including a remake of a classic map from a previous successful COD instalment), a new class division to utilise in said maps, a brand new chapter in the Nazi Zombies mode and a new War Mode map for players to enjoy the more narrative-driven game mode on.

Life is Strange ‘Farewell’ is quite clearly a bonus episode in every sense. It’s short and lacking in a way which previous episodes have not, however it does do a good job of bringing the series so far to a close, therefore I would say it’s well worth checking out if you get the opportunity to do so.

8 / 10.0 - The Wizards
Mar 12, 2019

From its amazing spell conjuring to its great control options, The Wizards is a great experience that will be enjoyed by most PSVR owners. The combat arenas can become slightly repetitive but they are broken up by light puzzles and awesome boss fights. The motion gesture spell casting is brilliantly realized and really makes you feel like you are actually creating magic.
