9.5 / 10.0 - Forza Motorsport 6
Sep 8, 2015

Forza Motorsport 6 is the best new generation racer, beating out DriveClub by a full lap and Project CARS by just a hair. Its selection of cars is incredible, driving in rain is as realistic as we’ve seen yet, and somehow it still feels accessible to newcomers to the series. Whether you want to drive a Bugatti or push a Cadillac Escalade, there’s something here for every car-loving racing-enthusiast.

8.5 / 10.0 - Halo 5: Guardians
Oct 26, 2015

Halo 5 is a well-thought out story that clearly sets up a Halo 6 (don’t worry, I won’t give away the actual spoilers). If you were to tell me that 343 Industries was already working on a Halo 6 before actually playing Guardians, I probably would have been eye-rolling with the best of them. But after playing through Halo 5, another game feels necessary.

If you're an Xbox One owner and dying for a new platformer to play, look no further than Super Lucky's Tale. If the game performs well enough, it's possible Microsoft could have a new mascot on its hands.

Need For Speed: Payback is fast and fun. It's definitely a fantastic addition to any game library and if you've left the franchise completely. NFS Payback makes the case that it's time to come back.

DOOM for the Nintendo Switch is a solid FPS that doesn't compromise the core gameplay during the transition. Both the campaign and online multiplayer are a blast to play, however, the absence of Snap Map doesn't go unnoticed. The game's performance is generally solid, even if it does have the occasional frame rate dip and texture issues.

The shroud of the microtransactions cloud everything in this game and that certainly drags the game's final score down. I really hope you read this review instead of jumping to the score because if microtransactions and a pay-to-progress loot box system don't bother you, this game is certainly for you.

Honestly, I'd rather play the Big the Cat fishing sections from Sonic Adventure than Monster of the Deep: Final Fantasy XV.

If you have no patience for VR frustrations inherent to the systems or if you can't stand Skyrim without mods, then you'd want to steer clear of Skyrim VR. But the absolute magic of its VR controls is palpable. It never gets old and is worth the small bits of hassle the game puts you through.

Resident Evil Revelations Collection is a cheap, but entertaining games for those looking for more Mature focused titles on the Switch. Both of these games offer strong campaigns and a solid multiplayer component that can easily eat up around a dozen hours each.

Frank's Big Package updates Dead Rising 4 to the point where its naysayers may be forced to give it another chance. Capcom Heroes' implementation of character costumes with newfound powers makes the main campaign all the more rambunctious.

7 / 10.0 - Doom VFR
Dec 6, 2017

Even though it retains a lot of the fun of Doom (2016), it's more of a supplement than an enhancement.

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker's Memory relies too heavily on everything that was introduced in the entry that came before it. While the new story, characters, puzzles, battles and locations are all commendable elements, the wealth of reused content used in this entry is troubling.
