Ninja Gaiden 2 Black is a textbook remaster/remake/whatever, or at least how I think these kinds of things should be. It updates graphics, movements and gameplay to adapt them to this new generation but respecting at all times the signs that made this saga unmistakable and unique. So don't think that the game has softened over time, on the contrary, it is still a difficult game where enemies don't give you a minute of rest, parry windows are adjusted to the millisecond and where your reflexes are measured continuously. Ninja Gaiden 2 Black is the return of the classic hack & slash

The Stone of Madness is one of those games that leaves its mark, one of those that, after playing them, you think that it will be a long time before you experience a similar adventure again. A superb artistic design, magnificent gameplay and a wonderful script come together to create a stealth adventure that, on its own merits, will become a cult game.

Donkey Kong Country Returns HD is the same game that we saw in 2010, which is excellent news because it is still an excellent game and one of the best exponents of the genre. Challenging, varied, with a great soundtrack, beautiful and long, this remastering is an essential game if you have not enjoyed the original title. It is a case of having done so, perhaps the new features of the 3Ds version, the beauty of the HD finish or the pure collectability are reason enough to get it, that each one must decide but the game is basically the same. Otherwise, Tropical Freeze, its direct continuation, is a game that takes all of its values and improves them and is without a doubt the great alternative.

Characters, plot and puzzles will captivate us for more or less 20 hours almost without blinking except for the moments when we get stuck in one of the puzzles.

The Spirit of the Samurai is an ambitious game that opts for a different artistic style and a risky combat system for this type of game. With this combination, the guys at Digital Mind could have backfired, but in the end they have created a game that not only fulfills everything it promised in its trailer, but also shows exquisite taste and know-how for being the first game from this Murcian studio.

In conclusion, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is not only a brilliant homage to the legacy of cinema's most famous archaeologist, but also a great first-person adventure game. MachineGames has managed to capture the essence of the franchise, offering an experience that combines action, clever puzzles, and an immersive narrative. Although it is not free from minor technical flaws, its gameplay and narrative make it a must-play for Indiana Jones fans and adventure game lovers.

Symphonia is a short experience, barely reaching four hours in length, but it doesn't lack anything. As we said above, both the gameplay experience and the setting are superb, and we will always have the feeling that we are attending the performance of a musical piece in which each instrument is playing its line in perfect harmony with the rest of the orchestra.

Spirit Mancer is one of those games that is really worth a stroll through the indie area of Steam. A game with a very nice artistic finish, but where it really shines, where it will amaze you, is for its great combat system, simple, fun but above all different, and that today, and given the current situation, is the best of all.

After a few installments that, without being mediocre, were not up to par with expectations, Treyarch puts the Call of Duty saga back where it belongs. With the best campaign mode we have enjoyed in a long time, a very fun online and with the promise of a lot of content, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is a game that lives up to the great installments of the saga such as Modern Warfare 3.

Darkest Dungeon II is a groundbreaking, brave bet that could have gone wrong, but they have managed to reinvent it without touching the essential: its combats and its desperate difficulty.

New World: Aeternum brings together the benefits of a great ARPG and the social gaming part of a great MMO without sacrificing anything along the way. A perfect game for those looking for a unique adventure and who occasionally feel like doing something more group-based, as well as for all those who want to spend the day raiding with their friends. The best proposal you can find in the MMO genre.

Nikoderiko: The Magical World is a good example of the platform genre. A fun and challenging game that constantly gives us the feeling of playing something we've already played before. It's not something that bothers us too much and I'm sure that the little ones at home won't even mind, it's more likely that they won't even notice it, but it's true that comparisons are odious and it's a real shame that in the end the game doesn't have anything that gives it a personality that stays in our memories and that will make it end up going more unnoticed than it deserves.

Silent Hill is a clear example that the kind of game we enjoyed in the late 90s and early 2000s can still be very relevant today if the product is treated with care and respect for what it was designed for at the time. It is not necessary to transform games into something completely different just to seek an audience that may not be reached anyway. By doing things right, you can reach all kinds of players without betraying the foundations laid by the product in question and without also causing discontent among the most loyal fans.
