9.5 / 10.0 - Timberborn
Mar 17, 2026

Timberborn is an original take on the colony management genre that, without reinventing the wheel, manages to give it a very interesting twist focused on water control and vertical construction. It doesn't reach the narrative depth of Dwarf Fortress or the variety of events in RimWorld, but it offers a solid, well-designed experience with a very distinct identity. A more than remarkable debut for Mechanistry.

Planet of Lana II refines the formula of the original to deliver an emotional and memorable adventure. Wishfully once again tugs at the heartstrings, especially regarding Lana's family history and Mui's flashbacks.

8.8 / 10.0 - Scott Pilgrim EX
Mar 13, 2026

Scott Pilgrim EX isn't going to go down in history as the game that revolutionized the beat 'em up genre. Nor do I think that's what Tribute Games intended with this title. Ultimately, Scott Pilgrim EX is a game that seeks, first and foremost, to entertain, and it succeeds brilliantly at that. The five hours or so that the game lasts fly by, and I can honestly say I was smiling every single minute of that time, something I can say about very few games.

The Tales of Berseria re-release is Bandai Namco's effort to preserve the original game, making it available on all current platforms and slightly more accessible to modern gamers. A number of quality-of-life improvements streamline the experience, making it the best way to enjoy this title today. If you're a fan of the series and haven't played it yet, you're in luck: don't hesitate and jump right in. And if you haven't tried any Tales Of game yet, it's a fantastic entry point into a series of video games that, once you start, you'll find yourself wanting more.

6.3 / 10.0 - The 9th Charnel
Feb 26, 2026

8.5 / 10.0 - Code Vein II
Feb 10, 2026

Code Vein 2, in short, is an action JRPG with a very distinctive aesthetic and a deep, fun combat system. Ultimately, it's not a game that tries to reinvent the genre; it doesn't aspire to be the new Elden Ring or a Final Fantasy killer. To be honest, and after playing it quite a bit, I don't think the game even aspires to be those things. It's content to be a game that corrects the problems of its predecessor, respects the series' fandom, and, above all, entertains anyone who tries it. And if we judge it by these three factors, the game more than succeeds.

9 / 10.0 - StarRupture
Jan 21, 2026

The Game Kitchen has honored the saga in the best possible way by combining the action of recent titles with the graphics of its predecessors. The Spanish studio proves that great intellectual properties are in good hands in our country. Precise controls, superb audiovisual finish, and accessible yet challenging gameplay. Your screens will become a frenetic spectacle as you ravage the varied scenarios filled with colorful enemies in a game that is enjoyable from start to finish, without having to be a prodigy at the controls.

Mafia: The Old Country is a journey back to the roots of the mafia that captivates with its setting and cinematic narrative. Its mechanics may be conservative and its world lacks gameplay depth, but as an audiovisual narrative, it's a worthwhile experience. It's not the triumphant return of the series, but it is a worthy and solid chapter that feels like good mob cinema played with a controller in hand.

8.5 / 10.0 - Rebel Transmute
Jun 4, 2025

9.8 / 10.0 - Doom: The Dark Ages

If you like Doom, this is your game. If you haven't played the series yet and are unsure, this is the game for you, but you don't know what it is yet. If, on the other hand, you've already taken your first steps in the series since Bethesda took over and haven't liked it, this one won't be for you either. Simple and straightforward.

9.3 / 10.0 - Despelote
May 20, 2025

“Despelote” is a wonderful game that can convey in just a couple of hours what triple-A titles with mammoth developments are incapable of offering. Ultimately, “Despelote” is like the soccer in this story it tells so well: an island of tranquility in a sea of hopelessness, where you can take refuge from terrifying reality for at least 120 minutes.
