ARMS is a game that, despite looking simple, can get deeper as the player continues to play. With its well-executed technical and artistic aspects and a surprisingly responsive motion controls system, it's an essential game for any Switch-owner.

Cuphead has an impressive art style and is challenging in the right way, offering satisfactory rewards after each stage. In spite of some unfortunate issues, it's still very much recommended, especially considering its current price.

Despite its negative aspects, The Evil Within 2 shows what it came for. Its experience is incredible and challenging, and in certain moments you can forget about all the incomplete story plots to just have fun.

Super Mario Odyssey is not just the pinnacle of the Super Mario franchise, but the pinnacle of 3D platformers in general. Great in its gameplay, design, and soundtrack, it's essential to any player.

The new sequel fulfils beautifully its role and is one of the greatest First-Person Shooters of the decade. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus offers a unique experience - even if it uses older assets - and deserves to be played by any fan of the genre.

Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back is an unfortunate attempt at reviving a franchise that should have stayed dead. Every single aspect of the game is repetitive and tasteless, what leads me to believe that this game was made from corporate thinking.

Need for Speed Payback just reuses its predecessors' formula. Despite having a very weak storyline, it kept me entertained for a few hours with its varied tests and missions.

Clustertruck starts well and promising, but the level of fun starts to drop as the stages go by, reaching a point where it becomes more irritating than fun. The premise, however, is interesting, and it's possible to get a better enjoyment of the game playing it in small sessions.

Much more than a turn-based strategy game, than a sci-fi game or than just any other indie game, Into the Breach is a masterpiece. Challenging without being unfair, complex without being overwhelming and familiar without being cliché, it's perfectly balanced to provide a unique experience.

20XX is a great game if you are a fan of the old Capcom classics. It doesn't quite get to their level of quality, but it mixes an awesome gameplay with a lot of nostalgia to create a good experience, if sometimes boring.

Broforce is a very well-made action comedy game at first, besides being a great homage to the classic movie heroes. It's so long and repetitive, though, that the player's happiness slowly fades away, leaving behind an expression of frustration and weariness.

Iconoclasts is a game that, having its story as the main focus, deals with subjects such as faith, oppression, exploration of other peoples and prejudice. Beyond that, it succeeds in the technical aspects, despite some weird design choices. Joakim Sandberg is to be congratulated for, alone, being able to create one of the best games of the year.

Sigi: A Fart for Melusina is a fun, funny and addictive game, but not without several issues that sometimes worsen the experience. Its aesthetics and soundtrack are so well-made that it seems like the developers "forgot" to work on other important aspects. If the game had more worlds or stages and the bosses were more balanced, maybe it could become one of the best indie games of the year.

Childhood is maybe the most important stage of our lives. Still, it's the stage we face with the most tranquility. The simplicity with which The Gardens Between talks about friendships and childhood touched me, making me remember and reflect. Playing this game is like reliving these memories, even if for a short period of time. Despite being far from a perfect game, it's an experience I think everyone should have.
