My life is all about playing, listening music and writing everything that comes to mind.
7 / 10.0 - Sunless Skies
Feb 10, 2019

Sunless Skies is a game with such an intense and complex story that it might have been better applied in a book. The game as a whole would be mediocre at best, if not for that part. Its gameplay is slow and hard; its art direction is good, but has no identity of its own; its soundtrack is just average. Playing it can be worth it, however, if you have the patience to follow an amazing story.

3 / 10.0 - We Happy Few
Feb 4, 2019

We Happy Few is, above all, a disorganized game with no identity. It was inspired by great games, but fell into a limbo of bad executions and left the fact that it's nothing more than a copy clear as day. The game had a huge potential to become a classic but threw that all away.

8 / 10.0 - Super Meat Boy
Jan 22, 2019

Super Meat Boy is at least a basis of what every platformer should be. It's lacklustre when it comes to innovation and it can be a bit tedious at times, but it gets almost everything else right. What makes me the most impressed is its capability of, despite being almost a decade old, still being current and holding up as a very quality game.

Life is Strange 2's first episode kickstarts an emotionless journey that employs critical topics in the worst ways. It fails in many aspects and doesn't even get close to being as good as the first game, but at least it makes the player reflect a bit.

9 / 10.0 - Subnautica
Jan 6, 2019

Subnautica is a survival horror game that should be one of the best of all time, but its optimization harms it drastically. It's immersive, has a chaotic story, enjoyable visuals, incredible sound effects and gameplay that gets almost everything right.

10 / 10.0 - Celeste
Dec 30, 2018

Celeste gets absolutely everything right. It has surprising audiovisuals, innovative gameplay and an inspiring story. Breaking the fourth wall constantly, it deals with current topics and makes the player embark on a beautiful rollercoaster of feelings, therefore being so immersive. It's indispensable to any player.

7 / 10.0 - Q.U.B.E. 2
Dec 22, 2018

Q.U.B.E. 2 adds much to the genre, be it the gravitational power from the gloves or the puzzle mechanics. Unfortunately, though, a lot of potential is wasted, since it has a mediocre story that leaves many blank spaces and its puzzles are very easy — and therefore monotonous — most of the time.

9 / 10.0 - The Messenger
Dec 8, 2018

The Messenger is a game that, despite being heavily influenced by the classics, should be played by all. It has very few flaws and is good through and through. Its art direction is stunning, its soundtrack is exceptional, its level design is marvellous and its gameplay is intuitive, but it's not as innovative as it should be.

9 / 10.0 - Moonlighter
Dec 2, 2018

Moonlighter turns a boring chore into innovative gameplay. Its concept is unique, and it deals with overcoming in its most varied senses. Its flaws, such as the unbalanced bosses, are too small and can be easily ignored. It's a charismatic adventure that you have to try for yourself.

Life is Strange: Before the Storm is a game that makes you think about every single aspect of your life thanks to a very strong plot. Because the developers have a relatively predictable story, this game being a prequel, some points were flawed, but it's still an overall enjoyable experience. Despite some graphical and gameplay shortcomings, this prequel is able to honour the Life is Strange name.

8 / 10.0 - Oxenfree
Nov 19, 2018

Oxenfree is a game where player choice matters a lot, and that fact mixed with an incredible atmosphere and an even better narrative create great memories for the player. Alas, it has a few flaws, such as the camera positioning and the walking speed, but the whole experience can make you forget them.

9 / 10.0 - Abzu
Nov 17, 2018

ABZÛ is a rich audiovisual experience. Its universe was made to be appreciated, and every single gameplay hour serves to fill an internal void in the player themself. At every moment, the game reinforces that its art direction is its strongest aspect, provoking strong emotions. On the other hand, its narrative leaves some blank spaces, and the variety in its mechanics is virtually null.

7.5 / 10.0 - Steredenn
Nov 14, 2018

Steredenn is a great game that tries to innovate in various aspects but is alas impaired by lacklustre graphical design in most of its stages. It creates an adequate atmosphere for its themes, well-thought-out modes and a satisfactory gameplay, but fails in one of the most crucial points.

8.5 / 10.0 - InnerSpace
Nov 10, 2018

InnerSpace is a relaxing experience, a polished game, a work of art. Unfortunately, only people who look for something more peaceful will be able to enjoy it, since it is so zen. The way in which it sets this alternative universe is exceptional, and even with a lacklustre narrative and not-so-clear objectives, it deserves the attention of many.

8 / 10.0 - Retimed
Oct 20, 2018

Retimed gets almost every gameplay-related aspect right, but the lack of a singleplayer mode is a problem. It's an extremely pleasant experience that fulfils what the developers wanted it to. It will be an even better game when it's completed.

6.5 / 10.0 - Whispering Willows
Oct 10, 2018

Whispering Willows is a very different game from any other. It has a good story, fun mechanics (despite maybe too simple) and a terrifying atmosphere, all made with love by Night Light. It has a lot of issues in all of its aspects, unfortunately, but it's worth it to try and play.

8 / 10.0 - Armello
Oct 5, 2018

Armello is a misunderstood work of art, despite some simple flaws. It has great mechanics - in spite of a weak tutorial -, an excellent art direction and, even if it looks like a niche game, is really good and should be played by all. Being its developer's debut game, it honours its multiple genres, pleasing both older and newer players.

Guns, Gore & Cannoli 2 offers a good experience, but there are vestiges of monotony and a lot of issues, be it in mechanics, level design and soundtrack. Besides that, it's extremely short.

Sigi: A Fart for Melusina is a fun, funny and addictive game, but not without several issues that sometimes worsen the experience. Its aesthetics and soundtrack are so well-made that it seems like the developers "forgot" to work on other important aspects. If the game had more worlds or stages and the bosses were more balanced, maybe it could become one of the best indie games of the year.

7 / 10.0 - 20XX
Aug 31, 2018

20XX is a great game if you are a fan of the old Capcom classics. It doesn't quite get to their level of quality, but it mixes an awesome gameplay with a lot of nostalgia to create a good experience, if sometimes boring.
