3 / 5.0 - DiRT 4

A troubled game, that tries a few too many things and ends up weaker for it. Though the Rally racing at its heart is great once you strip away the Career and judge yourself based on the AI.

3 / 5.0 - Portal Knights

While it starts on a refreshing feeling that mixes Minecraft with an RPG, it eventually wears out the welcome and becomes a game that I beat, but I could have given up halfway through.

3 / 5.0 - ICEY

While the main game is weak, there's good writing here for a large number of secrets, but the delivery still makes it a bit painful to play through. Still, it is enjoyable for quite a few hours.

Great insult comedy simulator and uses classic comedy bits. It lacks longevity, but I still enjoyed my time playing this game and goes for a reasonable price.

3 / 5.0 - LiEat

While rough around the edges and with a weird story, two out of three games in the LiEat series were rather solid. It's a shame the first one is the weakest because I think it will turn people off.

3 / 5.0 - Watch Dogs 2

Watch Dogs 2 makes a few right steps following Watch Dogs 2, but spends too much of its time trying to distract the player from what is a very interesting world.

While a flawed entry, it does have some bright moments. Districts are a great addition and the government system has been overhauled. However, there’s a lot missing and it’s a bit slow.

3 / 5.0 - Action Henk

It's a level based runner game, where the goal is to beat times. The game offers ghosts but doesn't exactly teach the maneuvers needed to succeed in the game. Still, it's fun for a short time.

A long JRPG with a lot of content. Enjoyable but brought down by too many battle systems, and a story that isn’t very good. However it’s a quantity over quality smorgasboard of JRPG goodness.

The newest game from the team that brought you Surgeon Simulator. It’s a game about mastering the controls. However, It doesn’t have a silliness that it implies, though it has a good challenge.

An amazing tech demo that now only holds a small piece of the story that’s needed. It’s a fun game, but instead, you should probably just pick up The Phantom Pain and enjoy that.

It’s a budget musical title, whose budget does hurt the soundtrack. While it has good graphics and style, only a few songs are noteworthy and a couple are memorable. But the story is solid.

- GRIS
Jan 27, 2021

Gris is a game primarily defined by its style and beauty. The game starts with a woman who appears to have lost her voice sitting on a stone statue’s hand and then falling as the statue collapses. It’s a strange opening that defies explanation at first, but it exhibits so much of what Gris is about. Gris is a game designed to be more about the visual environment connecting with the player rather than a deep gameplay system.

A fun and happy game from the same creator as Katamari Damacy, Wattam is an absolute delight to experience and enjoy. It could be longer but also will cheer anyone up.

An excellent combination of Yakuza and Streets of Rage, though short it's still a very fun experiment that has been released for free.

A solid throwback to classic Point and Click Adventure games. Made for fans of Maniac mansion or Monkey's Island by some of the masters of the format.

A fun adventure game, paired with an unnecessary Open world that goes through the motions. However new enemies and an excellent story is worth playing through the entire experience.

A solid game that is let down in it's final minutes as it can't find the right way to conclude it's story. However the experience and is excellent and worth playing through to see.

An amazing remake that shows how games should be updated for the modern era. However the second playthrough feels lackluster and leaves the player on a sour note.
