7.8 / 10.0 - Zombie Vikings
Aug 30, 2018

Zombie Vikings is a game that will either make you throw up or fall in love. It's grotesque and hilarious and exactly those two miexed with the setting can be polarising. Want to see Thor loose an eye and worm lord praise you for expanding his family and them realising how costly it is? Well... Here you go.

7.7 / 10.0 - oOo: Ascension
Aug 26, 2018

A single developer made a great game that will challenge your timing and dexterity. It adds something new to the gameplay every couple of levels, is rewarding, and well thought out. None of the levels will relay on luck, everything can be achieved with a little bit of finger sweat.

7.8 / 10.0 - Die for Valhalla!
Aug 23, 2018

Die for Valhalla is a game that is not too expensive, not too difficult to finish, and gives the player a few hours of great fun. I dare to say it's better that both Jotun and The Banner Saga!

6.8 / 10.0 - Atomic Heist
Aug 19, 2018

Atomic Heist is an interesting take on rogue-lite genre. You need to fight you way through a space station while your health is degrading and enemies are getting more and more vicious. Can you manage?

6.7 / 10.0 - Rocket Wars
Aug 16, 2018

Rocket Wars is a simple game ideal for a little competition amongst friends or for achievement hunter. For first group it will provide a few round of fun on a budget. For the second one it will bring full set of achievements in under an hour.

Ultimate Chicken Horse is an ultimate party game. When you need a game to play with a group of friends on a couch or online – this game will make you laugh and cry at the same time.

6.3 / 10.0 - Earth Atlantis
Aug 9, 2018

Earth Atlantis is a uniquely looking, but badly designed game. It bases it's gameplay on conquering the flooded Earth and killing beasts inhabiting this brave new world.

7.3 / 10.0 - DragoDino
Aug 5, 2018

DragoDino seems to be the game best suited for children. It's not demanding, but it's cute and can be fun. For a couple of bucks we get around 6 hours of gameplay in return. It's a good price for a bit of bad parenting and leaving a kid alone with the game.

7.7 / 10.0 - Moonlighter
Aug 2, 2018

Moonlighter is a good looking game that mashes up dungeon crawling with shop-keeping, but such combination can tire even most durable player. Going back and forth between shop and other dimensions can be fun, but only in small doses.

In general Aragami looks like well thought out title, but lacking a bit of polish. In this case I think that artsy aspects of the game took a toll on it's gameplay mechanics. I'd prefer it to be more like 3D Mark of the Ninja, but well...

6.7 / 10.0 - Super Destronaut DX
Jul 22, 2018

Super Destronaut DX is a modern take on classical shooters. It's an ideal and modernised mix of Space Invaders and Galaga, making it pure fun. The only downside is that this style of gameplay didn't age well in the age of full 3D titles.

7.8 / 10.0 - Haimrik
Jul 19, 2018

Haimrik allows us to think. The gameplay is based on written story and our reactions to it. We can spawn items by picking words and foresee what dangers await by reading ahead. The gameplay is simple, but demanding at times. It's a great niche game from South America.

8.2 / 10.0 - Awkward
Jul 15, 2018

Awkward is a great party game that up to 4 players are pitted agains each other in the game that breaks of builds relationships. It was the first game I played with my girlfriend and suffice to say, we are still together. Can't guarantee you won't loose a friend!

The Infectious Madness of Doctor Dekker is another title published by Wales Interactive that tries to bring back FMV games. It's interesting game focusing on reviewing patients of recently deceased Doctor Dekker, but necessity of typing answers makes it really tiering on consoles.

7.5 / 10.0 - Splasher
Jul 8, 2018

Splasher is a nice platformer that can provide hours of fun, but it puts a lot of weight on speed runs. Unfortunately the numer of players is too small for any meaningful competition. Even mediocre time will give you place in top 100, but you may never beat number 1.

Bwana and Kito made some bad business decisions as did the publisher. They gave us a re-release for consoles for a price of a brand new indie game. The Journey Down is among the best Point & Click adventure games available for consoles, but the price is steep. Nevertheless, it's worth to get interested in the game.

Sudden Strike 4 is the best strategy game released for Xbox One or even Xbox in general. It combines good old complexity of Sudden Strike games with great UI design done by people who held controllers in their hands. It's not the same as playing the game hunched over your keyboard, but it's close enough. I just wished it was Xbox Play Anywhere enabled.

I Hate Running Backwards is an interesting take on endless runners. You need to fun away from hordes of enemies, but also survive. You run backwards while annihilating enemies trying to chase you. The gameplay is interrupted by various minigames, graphics are simplistic but nicely implemented, and you can even bring a friend to help you out.

Shantae is visually pleasing and fun game, but it makes you repeat levels over and over again, especially when it comes to DLCs.

6.5 / 10.0 - ZAMB! Redux
Jun 24, 2018

ZAMB! Redux is not a bad game, but is not good either. Most issues come from developer's take on defense, where all players use shared pool of resources. Such approach can be damning if players are not coordinated and don't understand needs of each other. Additionally the game is priced too high due to being a 'redux'. Original version is available on Steam and costs fifth of console version's price.
