Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen isn’t perfect, but it is the kind of DLC that manages to transform a familiar game into a new experience. It’s a must-play adventure for anyone who enjoyed the original game and a fantastic reason to step back into the shoes of the Arisen. Capcom continues to prove that it’s on a roll.

Dynasty Warriors 3 Complete Edition Remastered is a case of “I want to, but I can’t.” For the 25th anniversary of the game that laid the groundwork and put the series on the map—and especially after the release of Dynasty Warriors Origins… I’m sorry, but I expected more. The content from Xtreme Legends and the additions of Lu Bu and Ziluan, as well as the ability to switch between control schemes, are great additions for an anniversary. But the rest… falls short. The graphics are improved, but they’re the kind that could easily run on a Nintendo Switch—they don’t warrant a 25-year wait.

This is a sequel well worth playing if you’re even remotely into boomer shooters. The subtle new features introduced—two characters, a branching campaign, and more—suit it perfectly and reinforce the already solid gameplay foundation that captivated thousands of players upon its release in 2013. Aside from needing a slight improvement in enemy AI, this is a highly entertaining title that will delight anyone who enjoys fast-paced first-person action.

Epic Mickey: Rebrushed isn't the perfect platformer. The combat is still lackluster, and the 2D levels fall short—two flaws it’s carried over from the Wii. Even so, on the Switch, it’s the best way to play it, thanks to the 60 fps and a handheld mode that runs like a charm. For me, who remembered it as just a passing fad, it’s been a delightful reunion. Páramo picks up right where we left off, only now it runs like never before.

All in all, we’d like to recommend Shinobi: Art of Vengeance once again. But this time, we’re addressing players who’ve just bought a Nintendo Switch 2 (or who already own one but are hesitating to buy the game). The gameplay is very smooth, and it’s a great title that will keep you entertained for a good 10 to 12 hours.

A mix of ideas. Some work quite well and, above all, the survival and base-building aspects are very well done. On the other hand, focusing on this single-player mode, it still feels a bit too empty and has the feel of an MMO. Narrative elements, levels and cutscenes have been introduced to make the solo experience more like an RPG. However, it’s still quite a way off this genre and ends up drawing (only a little) from many others, ultimately becoming a sort of Frankenstein’s monster. Even so, in most respects it does the job, and the lore of the universe created by Frank Herbert features those little details that are sure to delight fans.

Welcome to Elderfield looks like a farming game, but it isn’t. Or at least, not entirely. In my more than 15 hours of gameplay, I spent barely a couple on the farm, with the rest devoted to exploring and completing quests. The farm is, of course, important, but no more so than combat, exploration or interacting with the world. They are the four legs of a terrifying table that will attack you when you go to sleep. But four legs that carry an equal weight, after all. None of them is any bigger than the others.

Despite its somewhat limited technical aspects and its lack of innovation, if you love trains, the level of simulation the game offers will be enough to make it your go-to game. Still, it would be nice to see more European rail systems—such as the French or Spanish ones—which would add variety to the game’s all-too-familiar German and British settings. I invite you to give it a try through its free version.

Valheim started out as a simple survival game and has gone on to build a community that’s completely enamored with its exploration and building systems. Not to mention that we’ve been able to experience a true Viking adventure alongside our friends or on our own. Version 1.0 is the culmination of years of development and evolution by a studio dedicated to its community and its game.

All in all, Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom has been a particularly pleasant surprise. Getting to enjoy this universe again so many years later, with a new story, is something I didn’t expect. Maybe my fondness for the game is influencing my perception, but it’s been a long time since I’ve enjoyed it this much. After more than twenty years, Warcraft III still has stories to tell, and for someone who discovered video games thanks to it, being able to experience them is something very special.

I conclude this review of Kalanoro with the firm impression that this is a small-scale adventure with plenty of personality. It doesn’t set out to revolutionize the genre, but rather to offer a simple and fun experience. Its greatest strength lies in the combination of platforming, combat, music, and humor—elements that feel accessible right from the very first minutes. Some aspects could be more in-depth, and certain moments feel a bit too simple, but Kalanoro knows exactly what it wants to offer. It’s a colorful, lighthearted, and unique adventure that stands out for its personality and its quirky atmosphere.

Sniper Dan is, in short, a small, simple, and unique game. It hasn't changed my life, but it has provided me with some pretty fun moments and, above all, something that's a bit out of the ordinary. In short, I conclude my review of NASCAR 26 by recommending the game only to the biggest fans of this motorsport. Not only because it’s a somewhat niche competition in our part of the world (which is part of it), but also because, while it features a very interesting improvement in Career Mode, the truth is that this is the only significant new feature compared to last year. Furthermore, since the text hasn’t even been translated into our language, we might miss out on many important details needed to know how to approach the races.

Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is one of those games that seem much simpler during the first few hours than they actually turn out to be. At first, it all seems to boil down to entering a dungeon, defeating enemies, collecting items, and then selling them, but little by little, perks, new weapons, upgrades, potions, patches, relics with different properties, furniture, trading systems, new routes, and multiple progression options begin to appear.

A much-needed leap in quality for the series. It’s no longer just a Hot Wheels game—it’s now a key title to watch in the genre. It still has a long way to go; there are aspects that need improvement, such as the impact sensation, the sound of the vehicles, and a more distinct personality… On the other hand, behind the wheel, it feels like a complete experience—one that no longer requires as many “buts” as it used to. The sense of speed is very well done, and a large number of events and challenges have been introduced across its four islands, which you can now explore freely.
