Duuro Magazine's Reviews
While not reinventing the wheel, LEGO Bricktales translates the beloved brick-building experience seamlessly to VR. Being able to fully examine and interact with digital Lego builds adds new engaging dimensions.
While navigating the VR space presented initial challenges as a first-timer, Sniper Elite VR: Winter Warrior proves the shooter genre truly comes alive in virtual reality. For an entry-level VR player like me, its authentically violent yet satisfying action comes highly recommended.
Alan Wake 2 is undoubtably one of the finest narrative-driven experiences available on any platform currently. Remedy Entertainment has truly outdone themselves in crafting not just a great sequel, but a masterwork of storytelling, atmosphere and gameplay that will surely stand the test of time.
While The Pale Reach delivers more of what makes Dredge such a unique experience, there simply isn't enough here to justify the cost of admission for all but the series' most dedicated fans.
Motorcycle Simulator 2021 is good, but only for the patient simulation aficionados.
Dreams of a quality Christmas Metroidvania go unfulfilled. Ebenezer and the Invisible World offers little but disappointment and frustration. Avoid this Scrooge of a game, unless a major updates arrives before Christmas.
Worldless is a fantastic game. It's a Metroidvania game done right, with a beautiful and unique interconnected world to explore, interesting traversal and extremely challenging combat.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 might not be the threequel we all deserved, but in no way in hell it's a 4/10 game
By sticking close to beloved formulas and polishing every element with care and competence, it has earned its place among the greats of its genres. For fans of Soulslikes and Metroidvanias looking for another vampire to sink their teeth into, The Last Faith will quench thirsts both holy and damned.
I am really glad I got back to Hell-A, explore this new magnificent house and punch zombies to a pulp once again. The writing is even more funnier than the main game and my man Ryan is absolutely hilarious. If you loved Dead Island 2, you are probably going to love the HAUS expansion.
Unfinished, unpolished and with seemingly random puzzles just thrown in makes FINIS extremely hard for me to recommend to anyone.
There are no real puzzles to solve, there's no combat, there's just you trying to traverse through gorgeous landscapes, claustrophobic places and other things I won't mention, trying to figure out what happened and that's absolutely enough. The Invincible is brilliant and I strongly recommend you playing it.
Bang-On Balls: Chronicles is a riot of a game. It might not be as flashy as those big-budget titles, but it's got heart and creativity in spades.
If you have played the game back in 2010 with fond memories of it and you have 50 bucks to waste, then absolutely go for it as the game is as good as you remember it. But if you are on a budget, there are newer and better games you can spend your hard earned cash.
With its breathtaking visuals, engaging gameplay, and humorous storytelling, Immortals of Aveum is a truly enjoyable experience.
Ultimately, I found Fort Solis to be a gorgeous boring walking simulator. I respect it for what it achieves in terms of the insane production value, but I wish it featured some more engaging gameplay.
Viewfinder needs to be celebrated as one of the freshest, coolest and mind-blowing puzzle games that you've probably ever played.
A lack of accessibility is a cause for concern and if you don’t like retreading old ground, you’re better off waiting for a sale, given the expensive prices. Due to the absence of accessibility settings, it’s best to avoid it altogether. You’re not missing much.
On paper, Death or Treat should work. An action hack-and-slash rogue-lite 2D game with beautiful hand-drawn environments sounds cool, right? Unfortunately, a subpar gameplay experience and horrible performance make this a tough game to recommend.
The game’s attention to detail, immersive world-building, and engaging combat make Hogwarts Legacy a must-play for anyone looking to experience the magic of the wizarding world. I highly recommend playing this game.
