Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap maintains its core gameplay loop while taking smart, innovative steps to evolve its formula. The introduction of the rougelite element was that perfect step to keeping it fresh. While some elements are yet to evolve, such as humour and user interface interaction, these don’t take away from the fun of the Orc killing carnage. With four-player co-op, it’s a great time to join in with some friends and protect the Human World from the Horde.

8 / 10.0 - Baby Steps
Sep 25, 2025

Overall, Baby Steps is another excellent entry in the “Foddian” genre. One that is intentionally infuriating, hilarious, yet endlessly compelling thanks to Nate’s charm. It’s the kind of game I know I’ll keep coming back to in hopes of conquering it. It’s a game not afraid to take risks and is yet another big win for Australian indie developers.

The latest Goosebumps game is a fairly short game overall, but a long enough game for its target audience and having two different endings gives it more replay value. It’s the perfect game for kids wanting to get into the horror genre, but aren’t old enough yet, by having the right amount of spooky vibes without scaring them away for good, while testing their problem-solving skills.

As a remake, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remains very faithful in many respects. The story is mostly unchanged, level layouts feel familiar, and signature moments have been masterfully updated, but fans of the original release may feel as though the modernisation changes the game too much.

8.5 / 10.0 - EA Sports FC 26
Sep 24, 2025

FC 26 feels like a true step forward for the series, finally striking the right balance between competitive sharpness and authentic realism. From the overhauled gameplay fundamentals to the smarter Career Mode features, refined Archetypes, and a deeper FUT experience, EA has clearly been listening to the community. The presentation is slick, the sound is immersive, and the controls are fine-tuned for both newcomers and veterans.

8 / 10.0 - Mars Attracts

8 / 10.0 - skate.
Sep 21, 2025

skate. is a revival that doesn’t just live off nostalgia; it reimagines what skateboarding can be in 2025. Full Circle have kept the heart of the series intact, with the beloved “Flick-It” system, free-flowing gameplay, and a world that encourages you to create your own fun. The shift to a more stylised, cartoonish look gives it personality and separates it from the hyper-realistic titles we normally see, while the sound design and killer soundtrack capture the skate culture perfectly. After years of waiting, the series has returned and, for the most part, sticks the landing.

Supercar Collection Simulator is a charming little management game that captures the addictive thrill of collecting and selling, wrapped up in a store-sim setting. The core loop of opening surprise boxes, building collections and customising the shop is genuinely fun, and there is enough side content to keep you amused for hours. It nails the relaxing, casual nature of simulators but comes with some rough edges that could use some polishing.

8 / 10.0 - Moros Protocol
Sep 21, 2025

Set on a desolate ship drifting through space, you awaken in a pod as a faceless suit, accompanied by a floating voice that urges you onward. Death is inevitable, as you’ll no doubt learn. When it happens, a mind transfer courtesy of the system resets you to try again, such is the nature of a roguelike. I won’t spoil too much, but before long, you’ll realise many creatures, including a mysterious busty figure, are hunting you. Trust me, this will make a lot of sense if you play.

‘These Sunny Daze DLC’ is a colourful expansion to ‘POSTAL: Brain Damaged’, offering fans a fresh setting, new weapons, and additional enemies while keeping the high-octane, arena-style combat intact. The DLC doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it leverages the sunny vacation theme to inject new challenges, visual variety, and humour that’s as crude and chaotic as ever.

At its core, it is a mobile game, but it works just as well as a console or PC game and having crossplay and cross progression between all the relevant devices opens it up to many more players worldwide. 3 / 10.0 - Truck Driving
Sep 9, 2025

Truck Driving on Nintendo Switch feels like a bare-minimum effort that doesn’t really justify its place on the platform. Between the outdated graphics, lack of audio design, and mobile-style gameplay, there’s very little here to recommend unless you’re looking for the most basic truck-driving experience possible.

9 / 10.0 - Helldivers II
Sep 9, 2025

Helldivers 2 dropped in a time where gamers had lost hope in soulless cash grab multiplayer games. Arrowhead knew to bring the solid gameplay, with a balanced multiplayer system and sprinkled on top a sense of sass and charisma that is unmatched by most games in a similar category.
