Finally, a proper RPG with action elements, not just an action game with role-playing features. The Outer Worlds 2 showcases impressive narrative adaptability to player choices, lacking only a bit of technical ambition and polish to rank among the best role-playing games of today.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A continues to experiment with the main formula. The new active battle system is a great refresh, but it gets a bit lost in the grayness of the city and the repetitive missions toward the end.

Keeper is a calm, contemplative adventure where players take on the role of a walking lighthouse, using light to navigate and interact with an surreal world. The game delivers a polished and cohesive experience, but its mechanics and puzzles are familiar and straightforward, offering little innovation or challenge. While charming and serene, it ultimately struggles to stand out in a crowded market and does not fully realize its potential, making it feel safe and predictable compared to other notable titles in the genre.

Yooka-Replaylee is a solid platformer and an improved version compared to the original. That's great news for those who haven't played the original adventure, while everyone else would probably be happier with an entirely new game.

Bye Sweet Carole is an emotionally charged and haunting adventure that blends its eerie puzzles, striking hand-drawn art, and atmospheric storytelling into a dark yet beautiful fairy tale. Though a few rough edges and minor bugs occasionally break the spell, its emotional depth and meticulous craft make it a truly unforgettable experience.

Super Mario Galaxy and its sequel are brilliant games that deserve these updated versions for current Nintendo consoles. It’s just a shame that, at the asking price, they feel more like funding greed than celebrating classics.

On the outside, Hinako is a physically healthy girl in good shape, but inside she wrestles with unresolved emotions and complex ideas about who she’s supposed to be. Similarly, Silent Hill f offers a beautifully dark story reminiscent of the series’ finest days, yet its foundation rests on gameplay that unnecessarily insists on constant flailing at enemies.

FC 26 introduces many minor changes that are meant to matter to everyone, but will likely satisfy no one in the end. It’s still a game that plays it safe, delivering explosive football that—despite its traditional flaws—manages to be fun.

Just as The Odyssey complements The Iliad, Hades II complements its predecessor, proving itself to be not only a fantastic sequel but also a must play title that yet again defines the genre.

Borderlands 4 once again proves this series still delivers hours of pure chaos and over-the-top fun, especially with friends. The gunplay is fantastic, the open world vibrant and full of things to do, but the formulaic story, bland villains, and technical hiccups show Gearbox still hasn’t fired all its shots.

Ghost of Yotei features a new character, takes place in a different region and era, yet somehow still feels very similar to the adventures in Tsushima. That’s both a good thing if you enjoyed the previous game, and a slight disappointment if you were expecting something more advanced or different.

With a refined shot mechanic, and pretty fluid player movements NBA 2K26 gives us a reason or two to give it another go. Add in a pretty interesting MyCareer mode, and you have an almost superb basketball game on you hands. Almost, because the base price with omnipresent microtransactions bring it down.
