One of the best adventure games I've ever played. Up there with Gone Home and Year Walk for me, but with a much bigger emphasis on puzzles. You have to want to take your own notes and really figure this stuff out on your own. Also features the best version

One of the best "maze games" I've ever played. Genuinely nipping at the heals of some of the best Metroid games, Cave Story, and Hollow Knight.

You have to want to play something that looks like an old cartoon AND plays like Contra, but if that's for you, there is a ton to love about Cuphead.

This is an overlooked Switch remake of a great Game Boy Advance game, complete with new levels and a fun co-op mode. Great little puzzle levels, and Mario is fun to control once you get the hang of this different take.

Somehow this is the first 3D Kirby game, and though they did not build open explorable levels, they did build fun ones, and co-op is great for parents with kids.

Does not reinvent the wheel on open world, but does cut out some of the fat and clutter, resulting in a more thoughtful and serene experience than most games of this type offer. The combat is fun, though not as deep as it appears at first.

Rigid in its design, but great fun nonetheless.
