Hidden in my Paradise has all the makings of a charming, relaxing experience on the surface, but its small levels and frustrating controls make it hard to enjoy. While the game offers some neat ideas, like decorating worlds and sharing levels with other players, it fails to execute these ideas well. For fans of hidden object games, the Hidden Through Time series is a much more appealing option, with larger, more challenging levels and more polished gameplay. If you’re looking for a relaxing treasure hunt without a lot of repetition, this is a better place to start.

Just Dance 2025 is without a doubt the best version in the series so far. With every update the game gets more and more content and possibilities. The addition of the phone camera as a controller, all songs in one game, and the expansion of Just Dance+ to more than 300 songs makes this the most complete dance experience. With 40 new ones it is a party for both new and loyal fans. The 2025 edition is the version with the least number of new options. You really buy this version for the new songs. If this is the first time you come into contact with the Just Dance series, then this is the version to see if the series is something for you.

Building on the strong foundation the developers laid with Gris, Neva once again impresses with an emotionally charged story, beautiful visual presentation, and a captivating soundtrack. The game combines challenging platforming with simple yet satisfying puzzles and combat, all centered around the partnership between Alba and her growing wolf. While the pace could have been a little quicker for some players, the breathtaking art style makes every moment feel like a living painting. The few drawbacks, such as the repetitive death sounds and occasionally frustrating save points, do little to detract from the overall picture. Neva is a beautifully crafted game that not only challenges your skill as a player, but also touches your emotions. It is an interactive art experience that shows how powerful the medium can be, both in terms of gameplay and storytelling.

The game Metal: Hellsinger VR should have been my next favorite title on the PSVR2. Shooting demons to the beat of hard metal should be super cool, but the result is very mediocre. Visually, the PSVR2 has had to give in the most compared to the PC and Meta version. The game also contains only a small number of levels, which means you can finish the game in a few hours. The levels and weapons are not really inspiring to play each level multiple times. You really notice here that the game did not start out as a VR title, the weapons and interactions do not work well at all. Visually, this is also one of the lesser games I have played lately. It sounded so good, but the execution of Metal: Hellsinger VR could really use some autotune.

Sugar Mess – Let's Play Jolly Battle VR is a snack you would like to enjoy, but the result leaves a bad taste in your mouth. The visual presentation in the menu gives you the feeling that you can expect a lot of beautiful things, but every mini-game is extremely disappointing. The weapons do not feel good, the enemies are unfair and some levels are even boring. The music, bosses and puzzle levels do not provide variety in a game where you have already seen everything after an hour. This is not the PSVR2 game you want to buy for the whole family.

Besiege for the Nintendo Switch is a port of the perfected PC version from four years ago. The chaos, fun and crazy challenges are just as fun on the Nintendo Switch as they are on the PC. The game works great in handheld mode with the touchscreen and is the perfect way to play the game on the go. It looks neat, runs smoothly and the controls are nice and intuitive. It is a shame that the many extras, expansions, multiplayer and community content are completely missing here. This would have made the port even better than the PC version.

The game contains few frustrations. The art style is delightfully French and the focus on exploring a world full of mysteries is a fresh approach. Caravan SandWitch quickly manages to put a smile on your face. It helps that there are no fights, you can't die and there is no time pressure. It is still strange to jump from enormous heights without suffering any consequences. The finish is high, the climbing and the gadgets including your camper work neatly and are well used in the world. It is therefore a shame that especially the camera, the glitches and the unnecessary crashing of your camper make the fun a little less. But I have every confidence that the makers will solve this. If you are looking for mystery, a holiday to the French countryside or simply want to try out a great new game from a new developer, then you are in the right place.

Astro Bot takes the great inventive approach of the demo games and takes it to new heights. The result is fantastic and beautifully packaged in a full game with lots of surprises for Playstation fans. The game sounds nice and cheerful and looks fantastic. The game makes full use of all the features of the Playstation 5, game design is of the highest quality and the special powers are fresh and innovative. Astro Bot is a must-have for any Playstation 5 owner and it hasn't been since the Playstation 2 that Playstation has shown Nintendo how to make a 3D platformer.

Gundam Breaker 4 is a game with a clear focus. Building lots of robots and sharing them with other players. This can be done based on specifications or the visual spectacle of a diorama. The storyline and missions quickly become repetitive and mainly serve to provide an arena to try out your creation. It is therefore a pity that the game does not visually achieve the spectacle and presentation of the anime series. This is not a game that you buy for the battles, but to share your passion for building Gunpla with others and Gundam Breaker 4 offers a nicely extensive platform for this.

It's refreshing to play a game where all the unnecessary padding has been stripped away. Cat Quest III by The Gentlebros is highly recommended and it even prompted me to look up the earlier parts. The game is an old-fashioned Zelda with a pirate and cat theme. The game looks nice and colorful and has its own style. The fights, the weapons, the wild extras and characters provide a great gaming experience. The fact that the game even becomes too easy at a certain point does not spoil the fun. Cat Quest 3 is a fun and light-hearted sequel that you should play alone or as a couple.

On average it will take you about six to seven hours to complete the story of Unusual Findings and this figure depends entirely on how quickly you solve the puzzles. But this is a nice length without the game becoming too repetitive. The story is light and entertaining and the game is full of jokes and references. For example, the game is full of pixel versions of posters of well-known franchises and the makers are smart about not naming these well-known films and series. The pixel art is of high quality and the soundtrack and voice acting are very well done. It is therefore a shame that the game has opted for a completely open world and the player can go wherever he wants. This adds a lot of unnecessary searching and wandering, while the rest of the game is so strong. The translation from the mouse to the controller could certainly have been better and all this unfortunately means that the game ends up in the middle bracket.

Stolen Hearts: Wolf Knight is an entertaining platformer with some refreshing ideas. The structure of the levels and the variety provide a pleasant experience and the level design is very well put together. Stealing powers from enemies is a fun mechanic and is used and combined nicely. You notice that the game was made by a single developer due to the scale of the game, but this does not mean that there is not enough beauty to be found. You can try to complete each level with three stars, collect all the fireflies and unlock all the cosmetic upgrades. The passion and five years of work are noticeable in this game. Give this game a try and maybe it will steal your heart.

Spin Rhythm XD is a great music game with a controller, but a real game changer for the PSVR2. The game does everything right and includes every option you can think of to customize the game to your preference. It combines the simple capture of two colors of notes with the complexity of drumming along to the right rhythm. It is easy to play for a long time and easy to learn. If you have a PSVR2 then you really need this game.

At the moment, Flame Keeper offers too little interesting gameplay to recommend the game. This is not because the game does not contain enough bonuses, levels or enemies. The game even looks very cool and charming. It is precisely because the game basically does not know how to bring together enough interesting actions into a nice whole. The generated levels change too little and the structure of levels is the same every time. The new skills or bonuses do not change the experience much. It is very average and with the large amount of other titles in early access, the game still needs a lot of work to stand out.

Bit.Trip Rerunner not only gives the original a major makeover, but turns it into a big party. It celebrates the history of the series with a lot of fun extras, 150 different levels with music from previous games and a very extensive level editor. This is not a simple remake, this is a game that the makers have put a lot of effort and love into. This makes it interesting for both fans of the original and new players who have never touched the series before. It even gives more insight into how the game was made. This is how a remake should be made!

Men of War 2 offers many hours of fun and you can unlock a huge amount of units. The game contains a large number of modes for single-player RTS players and this is a game that you can easily purchase without ever touching the multiplayer. The battles feel impactful and the direct control provides a breath of fresh air compared to many other RTS titles. It is such a shame to see that the interface, always online and the average AI mainly get in the way of the game. But in recent days the game has already received a large number of updates and I hope that the developer will continue to support the game and that the game can last another ten years without any problems.

Baladins is a very fun new twist on the choose your own adventure genre. The game looks very fun and cute and the many stories you can discover each have their own challenges. As a player you are really rewarded here for reading, discovering, talking and looking around. It also certainly helps that the story with the dragon is full of surprises and a round does not take too long. This way you can quickly play the game for fifteen minutes to see if you can make any progress. The finish is very neat and with a few small missing details here and there, there is little to complain about. I hope that we see this concept in many other themes and topics. If you like role-playing games, stories or puzzles then this is definitely a game you should play.

Tales of Kenzera gives the player access to a beautiful world with a colorful presentation inspired by African culture. The levels, battles and upgrades are well developed, but it all feels a bit minimal. For a player who plays few action platformers or metroidvania titles, this is a game that you can pick up without any prior knowledge. It is therefore extremely unfortunate that the controls feel less fluid at a certain point and I hope that this will be resolved in an update. The focus is on Zau's journey and the loss of an important person in your life. Unfortunately, the weight of this message is not reflected in the gameplay and that is a great loss.

Although Wartales isn't perfect, the many small details that are slowly presented to the player make for a very enjoyable experience. You can play the game in many different ways and the game promotes a lot of experimentation. The game is simple in presentation, but it manages to add enough charm. In particular, the fact that each location looks different ensures that you will not get bored quickly. The new regions and the gameplay change little to the core of the game and the challenge lies mainly in exploring, balancing and expanding your group of mercenaries. Do I have enough food? Do I have enough food to feed everyone? Do I have enough resources and medicines to survive a surprise attack? This is a game where your loyal mercenaries and the journey are what matter most, not the final destination.

The controls in Paint the Town Red VR are intuitive and the most important settings are present, such as adjusting the height for seated players. The entire game is a very smooth experience on the PSVR2. A fun fact is that the music was composed by BAFTA award-winning Jeff Van Dyck. The game does not do anything innovative, but it does manage to offer a lot of content and possibilities to the player. The simple combat system and visual style will not be for everyone and the two tens of euros therefore feel quite pricey. But if you want to release your aggression for half an hour every now and then, this is the game for you!
