Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition is a new chance to experience one of Square's most beloved games released during the PlayStation 1. The game comes with some improvements that will greatly help those who want to play the title and learn about its rich story. Unfortunately, narrative and performance issues may end up being negative in a title that had everything to shine and be another great relaunch from the company.

.hack//G.U. Last Recode is a fun collection of really cool games that shows a bit of what CyberConnect2 is capable of when it's not stuck with anime games. Haseo's adventure is quite interesting and although its narrative has some pacing issues, the story overall is a tale that should be enjoyed by more people. Its gameplay and extra challenges presented will also win over action RPG fans who now have another option to choose from.

However, even with this lack of better options, Gal☆Gun: Double Peace is still not the ideal choice to spend your time with. The new re-release has plenty of content for players, but the experience will only be truly enjoyed by those who enjoy this type of media, making it a niche game. Plus, even if you're into something with a lot of fanservice, there are better options for that on the Switch.

Chocobo GP is a fun game featuring the Final Fantasy franchise's mascot. However, in a video game that features the acclaimed Mario Kart 8, the game doesn't even come close to its rival. I feel like Square dropped the ball by choosing to produce something cheap and fast without even trying to understand what makes Mario Kart special.

Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX reintroduces Koei Tecmo's monster franchise to video game fans who have forgotten about the series or never had the chance to experience it. With some interesting new features, the package is interesting for those who enjoy simulation games and have always wanted to create monsters from scratch instead of capturing them. With the idea of creating monsters from CDs, there's nothing more fun than bringing a creature to life through your favorite game, training it, and winning a difficult tournament at the end thanks to a stroke of luck.

DEEEER Simulator: Your Avarage Everyday Deer Game is a fun game that works great if you want to de-stress a bit and don't want to play more of the same. Unfortunately, the game is very short and has some stability issues when played in handheld mode. Furthermore, there's not much reason to play the game other than just destroying things, and that gets tiring after a while. If you want a simple and fun game to distract yourself between major releases, DEEEER Simulator: Your Avarage Everyday Deer Game is a good choice. However, for those expecting something more, it's better to invest your money elsewhere.

Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water is a game with a lot of problems and it certainly wasn't the best choice for a re-release. Despite having some improvements over the original release, the remaster still has the same design issues as the Wii U version, mainly the fanservice that ruins the atmosphere, and those who decide to try the game to get to know the series may end up leaving with the wrong impression of the franchise.

In conclusion, Knockout Home Fitness is a perfect title for those who want to work out without leaving home, as well as a great alternative for those who don't want to shell out $70 for Ring Fit Adventure. With plenty of different exercises and encouraging the player to come back every day, the game is that push you need to start changing your habits.

Shantae is a game that deserves to be played by platformers and metroidvania fans. Despite showing its age, the half-genie's first adventure is fun and thanks to the relationship more people can now enjoy it. And the good news is that if you like this title, the other games in the franchise are also available on the Switch. Just be warned in advance, this is not an easy game and it will test your patience quite a bit.

Gal☆Gun Returns is a rather weak title that relies too much on its mix of ecchi and rail shooter. Considering that rail shooters are a genre that has been little explored and has had few releases in recent years, it could be recommended if you are interested in this style of game since it manages to deliver a unique proposition, but that is not the case here, because if you don't like games with ecchi, or have big problems with this genre of anime, there is no reason to play it. And even if you do, I'm sure there must be animes, and even other games, that do fanservice much better than Gal☆Gun Returns. Unless you are a big fan of the franchise or want to mess around by introducing it to a friend, as was the case with me, there is no reason to have this game in your eShop account or a cartridge on your shelf.
