Despite not being a great fundamental piece for the series' overall narrative, Trails Through Daybreak II is another good game for the Trails franchise. Refining mechanics introduced in the previous game and offering additional development for your characters, the title will please anyone who enjoyed what Calvard had to offer and would like an additional adventure with its cast.

Tales of Graces f Remastered is one of the best titles in the series and the new version only helps to improve the experience even further. In addition to being a game that will please those who already know the franchise, it is also perfect for newcomers who want to enter the world of Tales. May Bandai Namco view the success of the relaunch positively and may this mean a possible return of other classics from the franchise, like perhaps, who knows, the other Team Destiny titles that are exclusive to Japan.

Freedom Wars Remastered is a great surprise to start 2025 on the right foot. Offering a new experience for the hunting game genre, an interesting narrative and fun gameplay, the title will please those looking for a challenging multiplayer experience with plenty of rewards for those who master its mechanics.

Despite having mentioned some caveats, Fitness Boxing 3: Your Personal Trainer is an excellent choice for anyone who wants to lose a few pounds while enjoying their Switch. The title has easy-to-do exercises and great accessibility options for those who are out of rhythm or want to do something calmer and stress-free.

Metal Slug Tactics is a fun game that combines strategy and traditional elements of the series. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it right now. The issues, especially when it comes to performance and random crashes are very annoying and destroy what should have been a good experience. Besides that, the small font and PT-BR translation, that isn't 100% with many words still in English, are points that should be improved upon. If Dotemu focuses on fixing these mistakes and making it more stable, Metal Slug Tactics may become another fun strategy option in the system.

Castlevania Dominus Collection is another excellent work by Konami and M2 in making their classic titles available for new platforms. The pack contains three fun titles that push Igavania to its limits and explore new and interesting possibilities for the formula.

Although Yakuza Kiwami has some small problems, the game is an excellent choice, especially for newcomers who want to know more about Kiryu and his series. Yakuza 0 would also be another very good choice, but Kiwami manages to stand out well as a unique story that doesn't need others to give it context. If you want to get to know the franchise, this is the perfect chance.

With a more personal touch, Romance of the Three Kingdoms 8 Remake is a strategy game that needs to be seen in a different way than others in the genre. Being a much slower experience and with multiple opportunities for those who like to create their own story, it is difficult to recommend the game to those looking for a more traditional strategy experience.

Being a last huzzah of the series before its great evolution, Football Manager 2024 Touch is the definitive version of the franchise's current formula. Refining past mechanics, adding new features and overhauling its engine, the title ends this cycle with a flourish.

Fate/stay night REMASTERD finally allows fans to officially enjoy the first narrative in the Fate series. For those who have always been curious about reading the VN and finding out why many consider the anime to be a bad version of the history, well, here's the chance to discover. Just be prepared for some boring moments where there are long monologues or super detailed descriptions of some things that may not be so interesting or that have already been described minutes before.

As a fan of manager games and a fan of Formula 1, despite not watching racing in years, I was very excited about the release of this game. After finally playing it, I was disappointed with the overall experience, but at the same time, I didn't see myself putting it down or wanting to finish this review as quickly as possible. F1 Manager 24 is a title that I see myself coming back to play even more and I sincerely hope that Frontier continues to support it as there is potential for something good here.

Another Apsyr relaunch, STAR WARS: Bounty Hunters introduces a new generation of franchise fans to a unique piece of its history. Despite no longer being considered canon in the series' general lore, the narrative presented in the game is still very interesting and can attract the attention of those who would like to know more about the series' original bounty hunter.

I confess I was a little disappointed with the title. I was expecting something a little more similar to GRID Autosport, however, despite its problems and lack of better polish, Hot Lap Racing is a game with potential. With some updates adding extra content and fixing its optimization and AI issues, it could be a great option for those who enjoy motorsport and want to race some famous vehicles.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is one of the main surprises of the year for the Nintendo Switch. Despite its late release on the platform, Bandai Namco and Project Aces managed to place all of the original game and its additional content satisfactorily on the platform. Its fun gameplay and beautiful visuals are present, running smoothly, even in the small moments when we slip up.

Trails through Daybreak is a pleasant surprise that the Trails franchise needed. The game is a breath of life, bringing significant changes to its gameplay and presenting a narrative that seeks to bring a different perspective to what we expected and that focuses much more on the future without needing to look so much at its past. This is one of the best entry titles in the series and ideal if you want to try a more modern Trails.

Rocket Knight Adventures: Re-sparked! it's a reminder of a different time for Konami. Three short challenging adventures, with a very different protagonist than expected and with gameplay that is not afraid to change and challenge players in new ways. For those who played these titles on their original platforms or like old games, Sparkster's adventures are a good purchase to have fun over a weekend.

SaGa Emerald Beyond is an interesting option for newcomers and veterans of the SaGa franchise or anyone who enjoys JRPGs and is looking for something new in the genre. Its highlight is definitely its gameplay, which offers a vast customization system and a lot of mechanics that interconnect to offer something that encourages the player's creativity and strategy in each duel.

THE KING OF FIGHTERS XIII GLOBAL MATCH is one of the best chapters in the KOF series, finally available on Switch and bringing with it great netcode for online play. The new version features fighters released as DLCs, lots of content to unlock, a rich tutorial mode and much more. Fans of fighting games have an excellent title for their Nintendo Switch.

Star Wars: Dark Forces Remaster may not be such a special game in the minds of Star Wars fans, but it is still a fun title in the saga. Kyle Katarn's story may no longer be canon, but it's still good enough to explore. This is one of the few games that doesn't have a lightsaber, but the gameplay can still be very fun and Nightdive's work in bringing the game to modern platforms is something to be praised.
