In an age of remasters and remakes, Shadow Labyrinth offers a truly refreshing approach. Take a 45-year-old game and build something new on its core principles. What an original and successful approach. The game sounds great, looks good and plays smoothly. So if you’re in the mood for a Metroidvania, you certainly shouldn’t miss out on Shadow Labyrinth.

As a long-time Robocop fan, this was obviously a must-play for me. That doesn’t change the fact that Unfinished Business feels unfinished, though. The issues with Rogue City haven’t been resolved, and despite the nice addition of being able to play as ED-209 and Alex Murphy, this isn’t enough to recommend this standalone title. UB is a decent game for Robocop fans but won’t attract a new audience. What’s more, this really should have been a DLC rather than a standalone game.
