Life is Strange: Double Exposure brings together practically all the elements that established the franchise, but stumbles in what is perhaps the most critical one: the story. In every title released so far, we have always had well-crafted plots and characters; however, that same standard is not seen here. Don't get me wrong: the narrative is not entirely bad, but there were points that could have been further developed and handled with greater care. Fortunately, that wasn't the case with Max: the character, who is the main reason for the game's existence, is explore satisfactorily throughout the entire adventure.

What charmed me most about Until Dawn was the clever way the game conveys its story to the player; nothing we come across is there by chance. The plot itself is engaging, and knowing that a simple choice can determine a character's fate makes us reflect on the decisions we need to make, even if under certain circumstances that has to be done in a matter of seconds. Featuring straightforward gameplay, closely resembling an interactive movie, the remake is a great entry point for those unfamiliar with the game, especially PC players, since the original version is only available on PlayStation consoles.

God of War Ragnarök features a rich and dynamic narrative that deepens the backstory of familiar characters while introducing us to extremely charismatic new ones. With a balanced difficulty level, the already excellent gameplay has been refined to offer a wider array of options for the player, all set within varied, highly detailed environments. After completing the adventure, it becomes clear that Santa Monica Studio knows exactly what it's doing with the franchise, once again delivering a game that stands well above average.

Giving a fresh perspective to a character whose traits were already firmly established, God of War delivers an engaging, well-crafted story with just the right amount of emotional weight. Even with several changes, the feeling I got was that the game managed to retain the essence of its predecessors: the brutality, exploration, puzzles, chests, and breakable pots are all still present, even though many of these elements have been given new meaning.

A desire for revenge, broken traditions, bloodshed, and heavy loss: it is amidst these struggles that Jin Sakai abandons the samurai code to become the ghost of Tsushima, a warrior fighting for the liberation of his people. Set in feudal Japan, Ghost of Tsushima's narrative kept me hooked from start to finish with its many nuances, charismatic characters, and surprising twists. The authentic atmosphere crafted by Sucker Punch and the excellent combat system make the experience all the more rewarding.

It is noticeable that Horizon Zero Dawn draws inspiration from various sources, and there is nothing wrong with that. Rather than simply replicating ideas from other titles, Guerrilla sought to forge a distinct identity for its work. As a result, we get a game that offers countless hours of fun thanks to its dynamic gameplay and a narrative that constantly compels us to uncover more about its universe. Aloy's charisma is another standout point: great stories are usually accompanied by memorable characters, and that is no different here.

As the franchise's first entry to adopt the Metroidvania style, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown delivers a great adventure to players. With a vast, interconnected map to explore and plenty of challenges to overcome, the title easily offers over twenty hours of gameplay, and that's without accounting for side objectives and collectibles. It took me nearly thirty hours to reach the credits myself, and there are still areas of the map I want to explore further. Given that it's a challenging game, prepare to retry certain segments, especially the boss battles.

Evolution is a fitting term to sum up Horizon Chase 2 in a single word. Without losing the core essence of its formula, the talented team at Aquiris delivered a sequel that refined everything established in the franchise's first game. Looking back at the franchise's recent entries, Assassin's Creed Mirage is a smaller, more contained game, and that is by no means a bad thing. Over the course of roughly 20 hours, I had an experience that isn't particularly memorable, yet it is enjoyable in the way older games used to be. The title does have its exciting moments narrative-wise, but overall I'd say it lands somewhere in the middle when compared to other entries in the series. Fans of the classic formula will likely find plenty of fun here.

After establishing itself as one of Microsoft's flagship franchises, Forza Motorsport returns completely overhauled and introduces a system that rewards player skill, something I thoroughly enjoyed. What sets this title apart from its predecessors is that there is now a genuine sense of satisfaction in improving each lap time and tackling every track sector cleanly, as we are immediately rewarded for it. In other words, racing has become even more engaging. The inclusion of mandatory practice sessions ties directly into the new progression system, allowing us to gain a better feel for the tracks and test whether the vehicular upgrades made a real difference.

The audiovisual aspects are exceptionally well crafted, establishing a constant atmosphere of dread. The title sets out to be a cleaning simulator and gives players various jobs to tackle, making us sink dozens of hours holding a power washer. The career mode is quite extensive, featuring 38 levels. Given the lack of mechanical variety, the game can quickly become repetitive due to its length, so my advice is to space out your play sessions with other games or activities—that's what I did.
