Bridge Constructor Ultimate Edition does give you some creative free rein, but this game is really more about problem-solving rather than artistic ability.

A charming, well-put-together little bowling title that’ll allow you to have fun without going to a real alley

7.5 / 10.0 - Rush Rally 3
Jan 9, 2020

Rush Rally 3 is impressive for being the product of a one-man band. It has a sizeable amount of content and accessible driving model. Its simplistic presentation is a bit of a bummer, but this is still one of the most balanced racers on Switch so far.

If you're accustomed to the deliberately mundane nature of simulators, then Fishing: Barents Sea Complete Edition should be a familiar outing. It's not as hands-on as the typical fishing game, which makes it feel more automated and lifeless. Still, it does a relatively decent job at simulating the life of an industrial fisherman. It's rough around the edges, especially here on Switch, but it's by no means a bad game.

The new Road to the Black Sea expansion for Euro Truck Simulator 2 offers a huge amount of gorgeous new scenery to explore. It's a great buy for both newcomers and veterans.

Farming Simulator 20 on Switch looks great and provides a relatively decent sim experience, but it's not as robust as the last FS entry on Switch due to now being more mobile-focused.

7.5 / 10.0 - WRC 8
Nov 30, 2019

Despite the drawbacks, I still find WRC 8 on Switch to be a cool experience for race fans who are craving a more raw, complex experience. It's nice that the KT Racing team sees so much potential in the Switch considering the fact it has yet to skip bringing any of its recent projects over. Here's hoping the team's support continues and their mastery over Switch hardware continues to improve.

Construction 2 Simulator has some annoyances but still manages to provide a relatively decent sim experience with a lot of content and decent presentation.

SCS has done a fantastic job at capturing both Utah's natural and man-made beauty. It offers a huge variety of scenery objects with an amazing amount of detail that will make for some seriously scenic drives in American Truck Simulator.

If you're itching for a true off-roading simulator, then have a look at Spintires: MudRunner. It launched last year on Switch and still manages to provide a very high-quality experience with both gameplay and visuals. Ultra Off-Road Simulator basically looks and feels like someone saw MudRunner and wanted to copy it in the cheapest way possible. Thus, you're better off just going straight to the source.

A great pack if you like CLAAS equipment, but it doesn't add any major new elements to the existing game.

The only official simulation that features all the unique characteristics of the ETRC and offers all racing fans a completely new driving experience: race a giant 5-tonne, 1,000-horsepower truck against 12 competitors while respecting the race rules to avoid penalties.

Super Tennis Blast has a pretty decent amount of content for a relatively simple game, though it can understandably feel a little repetitive after a while. If a pure tennis game is what you’re looking for, this title gets the job done well enough. While I’m not a fan of its lack of motion controls and the stiff-looking animations, it’s still a neat little sports title that I had fun playing.

M2 did a pretty good job at this port. Everything looks and runs quite well, and the customization options for the gameplay and controls are much appreciated. While I wish the visuals looked more like the PS2 port of the game, and that there were more content, this is still a neat little package that should prove to be fun for any fan of racing games, whether you’re a novice or veteran.

The new Map Expansion for Bus Simulator 18 adds two beautiful new towns and a cool new road network, but prepare to put in the hours ahead of time.

The new Campus expansion adds a relatively deep and challenging new layer to the Cities experience, though I wouldn't call it a must-have.

7.5 / 10.0 - Koral
May 18, 2019

Even though it’s not heavy on content, it’s a relaxing experience that you can embed yourself in for a while and get lost in the world below that, as the game points out, we really don’t know all that much about.

All things considered, this is a small content update, so it doesn't add a huge new level of depth to the game, though it's still a pretty solid package nonetheless. As the release of MudRunner 2 later this year nears, I look forward to seeing how the new trucks handle and what the developers have in store for the new maps. In the meantime, this is a good little treat to tide us all over.

7.5 / 10.0 - Moto Rush GT
Apr 30, 2019

It’s a simple game, but for what’s supposed to be a small experience, it’s not bad at all. If anything, the head-bopping soundtrack will probably keep you coming back to gradually tackle each level.
