Joey Davidson's Reviews
Batman: Arkham Knight is another exceptional effort for the Caped Crusader from Rocksteady. It's not perfect, but it's a whole lot of fun.
Splatoon is a wonderful game with a premise that's genuinely incredible. It's simply short on content, though that will be remedied.
As it stands now, Inside My Radio is a really novel concept that's fun and great for the majority of its play. I give the game this: It never overstays its welcome. It's too bad that it's so short, though. I was having fun right up until that last boss battle, and I wanted more.
If you're entirely new to this experience, I absolutely recommend Teslagrad as a great puzzle platformer. It arrived a bit before the genre became way too crowded, though the two years that have passed since then certainly haven't helped. What we have here is a well made 2D effort, and explorers who aren't tired of the genre will enjoy this one for its silent storytelling and magnetic puzzle mechanics.
This is hardly a remaster, but newcomers who want a fresh take on zombie fighting should consider it.
Affordable Space Adventures is a brilliantly fun, atmospheric and rewarding game. It works best in groups, and it's an awesome entry for the Wii U.
Now, if you're new to PlayStation with the PlayStation 4 and you love baseball? Get MLB 15: The Show. There isn't much to complain about for new players at all.
BOXBOY! is a charming puzzle game for the Nintendo 3DS that you absolutely should pick up.
This is a great game, and you should absolutely snag it if you like huge JRPGs and own a New Nintendo 3DS.
Code Name: S.T.E.A.M. is a wonderful game littered with an ever-present source of boredom.
If you game in groups, pull the trigger on this one. It's absolutely nuts, but it's easy learning curve, wealth of content and humor make Starwhal a blast for group play.
Kirby and the Rainbow Curse is a charming adventure that's priced well, even if it comes with some corner cutting flaws.
Majora's Mask was different, and I fell in love with it the same way a lot of Zelda fans did. It's the black sheep of the family, and it's wonderful.
Dying Light presents fun mechanics and a gorgeous world, but that comes with often boring quests and combat.
A fantastic first step on a journey I didn't see coming.
Be warned, you can find the same game on other platforms for a vastly cheaper price. The same experience moves on mobile for $2.99 and on Steam for $9.99.
A fun experience at a questionable price point.
Xeodrfiter is a win for fans of classic gaming and the metroidvania genre.
As I walk away from Far Cry 4, I can safely say that it's one of only a handful of games from the last year that I truly felt earned all of the time I dedicated
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker has turned into a sort of habitual form of relaxation for me over the last week or so, and I'm kind of in love with it.
