Pranavsingh Dhunnoo's Reviews

I have been exposed to video games for as long as I can remember, mostly as an observer, watching my siblings and cousins game on their PCs or home consoles. Nowadays I still observe games but firsthand, and I enjoy relating my experiences through my articles and reviews on GBAtemp.net. My bio sums up to being a geek, gamer and human.

Battle Chasers: Nightwar is a proper adaptation of the comic that it is based on as far as artstyle, soundtrack and environments are concerned. However, as a lengthy, old school turn-based RPG and a narrative perspective, it is not without issues.

6.8 / 10.0 - Crossing Souls
Feb 22, 2018

Crossing Souls relies too often on tropes and pop-culture references that it forgets what makes it good. A casual adventure game in a beautiful universe.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is best enjoyed in co-op mode for short bouts of time, as otherwise it feels repetitive and uninspired despite packing some simple, yet interesting combat mechanics.

6.8 / 10.0 - Beyond: Two Souls
Jun 29, 2020

Despite being a game of ambitious proportions with the visual appeal and an intriguing plot, Beyond: Two Souls falls short of fully living up to the expectations with unintuitive gameplay segments, anti-climatic choices and some poorly developed characters that don't fully relate to players.

6.8 / 10.0 - Watch Dogs: Legion
Nov 16, 2020

This score represents the experience of the PC version which is, even weeks after launch, in a sorry state of buggy mess for many players. Nevertheless, Watch Dogs: Legion does offer some decent fun overall with its sandbox approach to missions and standout feature of playing as virtually anyone in London.

6.5 / 10.0 - Metal Gear Survive

An uncanny addition to the Metal Gear franchise, Metal Gear Survive survives as a survival game but doesn't deliver as a Metal Gear game.

An 'Attack on Titan' wannabe that falls short with its repetitive gameplay and poorly developed plot.

6.5 / 10.0 - Moonlighter
Nov 13, 2018

Moonlighter is Zelda with a shopkeeper twist. Balancing beautiful animations and soothing tunes against an underwhelming plot, a thing combat system, and plenty of grinding, there's plenty to like and dislike.

A lack of actual gameplay and a slow paced, confusing storytelling don't do justice to Layers of Fear 2's interesting premise and fancy visuals.

MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death might not appeal to a wide audience, particularly fans of DRPGs. A shallow narrative, an underutilized battle system and repetition make for an average game.

Sometimes captivatng, other times frustrating, the puzzles in A Rose in the Twilight uses an interesting but flawed mechanic and delivers a touching story that you have to piece together.

Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition HD isn't the best version of Final Fantasy XV out there but it is the only version available for the Switch. Pick it up if you really want to experience Noctis' adventure on the go but be prepared to be left wanting for more in several aspects.

5.8 / 10.0 - JUMP FORCE

While Ary and the Secret of Seasons is an original, feel-good game with an interesting gameplay mechanic, it's still an unpolished game that deserved more fine-tuning to do justice to its scope.
