7.5 / 10.0 - Gunman Taco Truck
Feb 8, 2017

Gunman Taco Truck has been a pleasant surprise. It is a very good action roguelike that dishes up a heaping helping of difficulty with a smear of silly humor and a sprinkle of strategy and rolls it all up in a post-apocalyptic tortilla. Even though the game was designed by a 9-year-old, this isn't a simple kids' game, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that it takes planning, reflexes and a bit of luck to successfully make it to Winnipeg.

6.5 / 10.0 - Clockwork Empires
Nov 9, 2016

Clockwork Empires has a solid foundation, but all of the events that should be challenging and tell memorable stories mostly end up being small blips on the game's radar.

5.5 / 10.0 - Necropolis
Aug 5, 2016

Necropolis has solid combat and tight controls, but the lack of proper pacing and the disappointing progression system mean you should probably wait until the game gets the promised tweaks before picking it up.

Dec 8, 2015

It doesn't look like much and it takes effort to learn, but Conquest of Elysium 4 has a ton to offer. Incredible depth and hours of fun await anyone willing to invest some time into it.

5.5 / 10.0 - Legions of Steel
Jul 29, 2015

Legions of Steel is an average game that really doesn't have the legs to keep player interest for long. While good for die hard Space Hulk fans and those unfamiliar with tactical strategy games, experienced tactical strategy players may find the game too basic.

A solid adventure board game, the asymmetry of the hero characters really adds fun and re-playability.
