Technosphere Reload is a neat game in concept only – the gameplay mechanics are all there, but the level design and excessive difficulty ruin any potential fun. There’s just too much pressure on the gamer – whether it’s managing your Technosphere’s battery, or carefully navigating the end of a level because you only have one life left and don’t want to start it from scratch.
Deponia is a pretty good point-and-click adventure. It’s definitely heavily focused on being a more humorous take on the genre, and while I smiled at a few of the jokes, I rarely found anything overly funny – but humor is subjective, so maybe it was just me.
Mechstermination Force is a pretty fun game, but it’s definitely not easy – so if you’re easily deterred from frustrating challenges, be warned.
Kirby’s Extra Epic Yarn is an easy recommendation for anyone looking for a new adventure on their 3DS as it provides an adequate challenge for all sorts of different gamers.
Trials Rising is a brilliant return to the Trials franchise.
If you’re more of a casual racing fan looking for something different, it might scratch that itch, especially if you prefer more simulation-style racers over arcade racers.
While I hope the next expansion is a bit more wild, much like the Hot Wheels expansion from Forza Horizon 3 – I can still recommend this expansion as a worthwhile addition to Forza Horizon 4.
If you’re new to the franchise, you’re not going to get much depth, but under the right circumstances and with the right mindset, you might be able to squeeze out a fun time.
If you’ve played previous Just Dance games, you know exactly what you’re getting into and that will probably be enough to sway you one way or another. However, if you haven’t played Just Dance before and you’re are looking for something fresh to play – especially with a group of friends or the family – Just Dance 2019 is an excellent option.

Nintendo, your Mario Party fans deserve better than Super Mario Party. Take a page out of the Smash Bros book and give fans a real treat next time.
Make no mistake about it, for fans of racing games, Forza Horizon 4 is a must-own.
This game has a lot of potential, but the current pay model makes it hard to recommend.
For the most part, I was happy with this fighter and I really hope we see some additional post-release content added, such as more characters from Nicalis published titles.
Hero Defense is a solid take on the tower defense genre.
The Nintendo Switch is becoming a treasure trove of excellent indie games and Iconoclasts is a jewel that shines as bright as some of the absolute best. Like some of the best RPGs with deep character development, this is the type of game that will sit with you for days and weeks after you've finished it.
Danger Zone 2 is a strong sequel to Danger Zone.
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is a fantastic game and a must-play for anyone that enjoys puzzle-platformers.
