Jason Stettner's Reviews
Spartan Fist is an alright rogue-lite being something that’s different while ultimately lacking in depth and content.
Bayonetta definitely delivers a compelling and rather insane experience that’s still a great time even today.
Overpass has some interesting elements, but is largely a very basic and issue ridden racing title that sends you spiraling into a silent mind numbingly boring ride.
Hunt: Showdown is a great competitive multiplayer experience featuring a rather ruthless and gritty world to face off in.
Sniper Ghost Warrior: Contracts takes the series in an odd, yet interesting direction while also lacking the necessary polish to deliver a smooth experience.
Castle Crashers continues to be an incredible experience, and it’s excellent on Playstation 4.
Murder Miners is a solid shooter featuring some wild action, great game modes and some fun maps to play on.
Patapon 2 Remastered is a fairly basic port of the game that really didn’t alter much and provides a generally solid sort of experience.
Dreams is a simply magical experience that could produce some truly beautiful games and pieces of art, for any type of gamer to enjoy.
Everreach: Project Eden aspired to be like Mass Effect, but over extended itself and ultimately made an experience that is rough to play through.
Zombie Army 4: Dead War is a blast in cooperative play, and a welcomed expansion to this spin-off series showing that it can stand on its own just fine.
The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics is an alright extension to the show, but not necessarily a stand out within the turned based genre.
Skellboy has some really interesting mechanics, but has bad performance issues and numerous glitches on the Nintendo Switch.
It Came From Space and Ate Our Brains is a really enjoyable twin stick shooter offering a fair bit of gameplay and an excellent cooperative time whether that’s locally or online.
Journey to the Savage Planet is an awesome experience, bringing a wacky and straight up enjoyable adventure on one bizarre world.
Untitled Goose Game was a surprisingly interesting time delivering a unique world, and putting you into the shoes of a shockingly aggressive bird.
Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD is a very unique title for the Nintendo Switch, the experience holds up while some mechanics have aged a bit too much.
Ether Loop is definitely a hardcore, and challenging game though it can be quite fun with some aesthetic elements. It isn’t necessarily my type of game, but I did enjoy playing it.
The Darwin Project is an alright battle royale title, it does some unique things while having a fairly streamlined crafting system that feeds into minimal elements of survival.
I had a good time with Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot, at the same time this doesn’t feel like it’s anything new and I’m generally just tired of Jack.
