Overall, Star Wars Outlaws is an adequate game that gives you a decent Star Wars experience but isn’t anything memorable. Yes there are different ways to enjoy the game but the soft locks, forced stealth, and checkpoint system can make you not want to continue playing. The game does feature some fun gameplay elements such as Sabacc and Nix interactions but it doesn’t drive the overall experience.
If you haven’t wishlist Anger Foot yet, then you probably should if you don’t buy it right away. With multiple levels to each act, you can get at least 4 to 8 hrs of gameplay depending on how you play. If you want to put on the stuff to make it easier, then yes it will be faster. The characters within are comical and in a way relatable. The game’s comedy was a nice blend of the corny moments from High on Life with the action-pact pacing of Doom Eternal or Bulletstorm.
Overall, it was fun to playthrough Reveil. The playthrough we did took about three hours to get through but after seeing what you need to do can probably be done in about two hours. For $19.99, the game is worth checking out; if the game goes on sale then it would definitely be a great horror game to pick up for spooky season.
If you have ever been curious or wanted to try one of the worst games ever made, then it might be finally time to play Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties. The Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties: Definitive Edition makes what was one of the worst games ever made into a fun and comical experience.
At the end of the day, Nightdive Studios has done a great job with the Star Wars Dark Forces Remaster and would make Lucas Arts proud compared to some other Star Wars titles. Yes, the game isn’t for everyone, but the developers have done a good job of making it accessible to most. The lack of a colorblind mode does seem like a failed oversight when you look at everything they did add, but it doesn’t make or break the game experience.
Honestly, if you think a game about slapping someone might be of interest to you, then it is worth checking out or picking up. For $19.99, picking up The Rose & Camellia Collection might be worth it at least to try.
Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection deserved a full remaster or remake compared to the garbage that Aspyr put out. It is heartbreaking to see how little effort they put into bringing an experience worthy of the series to the modern era. The game’s controls are extremely stiff and you will have to battle aim assist on top of it. If you are looking for a fun trip down memory lane, just buy the games on Steam or when they are on sale.
Combat within the game feels unsatisfying with a limit to the abilities. The jokes within are dated and feels like an AI wrote them after being fed information about South Park. Arguably, the only fight we enjoyed with the game was the final fight and that was because it broke the mold the game had established in the prior chapters.
Outside of 2K locking Brock Lesnar out of the game due to the Vince McMahon controversy, Visual Concepts has done a good job with the game and improves each year.
If SplitSide games can work out the bugs and add more accessibility options then Fling to the Finish could become a trending streaming game to play with friends or community members. At the moment, the game could use a bit more polish before that but is still a rather solid game.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink is a fantastic game that you will enjoy whether you pick it up when its full price or on sale. A sequel to a smartphone RPG, Granblue Fantasy: Relink is a surprise gem that everyone should have fun playing.
Outside of length, poorly executed jokes, and a morality virtue signaling campaign, the game’s DLC fails to reacquaint players with the game’s mechanics. In the first few minutes, you will have to figure out how to play again or die trying.
At first, the DLC felt like it was too little, but as we got to experience the story in The Indigo Disk, it felt more flushed out and worth the price. If you are a fan of Pokemon games, The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC is worth picking up. The blend of different generations of Pokemon makes the game feel fresh and changes the game’s battle system for more competitive matchups. Despite some of the negatives, it is ultimately worth the price if you want to keep enjoying Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

For the King II has the potential to be a great tabletop-like RPG. At the moment, the biggest things holding the game back are its bugs, matchmaking, and lack of game difficulties. The game’s biggest positives are the ability to have each character flex into a different playstyle, four-play co-op, and the story. With the different bugs we have encountered, we think that For the King II would have benefited from Steam’s Early Access program. Thankfully, it seems that the developers are actively working on bug fixes so it has improved over the last month.
Disney Illusion Island is a great game to pick up this holiday season for families that want to be able to play together. At the moment, there are no sales on it, but it is worth checking out. Hopefully, one day it will come to other platforms so gamers on other platforms can enjoy it.
At the end of the day, Modern Warfare 3 (2023) is just an over-glorified DLC for Modern Warfare 2. With a lackluster campaign, recycled multiplayer maps, and a buggy Zombies mode, MW3 2023 is definitely a skippable game. Hopefully, with Microsoft purchasing Activision, future Call of Duty games will have a proper development cycle and feel like a standalone game that you can’t miss rather than an overpriced DLC.
At the end of the day, Let’s Sing 2024 is a gimmicky game that can be fun for hardcore Karaoke fans who do not have room for a Karaoke machine or cannot afford one. Before we jumped into the game, we were excited about the aspect of singing our hearts out but by the end of each session, we felt tired and almost defeated. Defeated not because the game is difficult; instead, defeated because it lacks the overall excitement and passion that the real experience provides. Maybe our views on the game will change once the companion app works or the VIP pass is accessible, but for now, Let’s Sing 2024 is definitely one game you can skip this holiday season.
At the end of the day, CRYMACHINA will become a game that some look at as having potential but failing to live up to it. The combat outside of boss/challenge fights feels uninspired and the levels lack substance. Don’t get us wrong, the game is beautifully designed visually but pretty graphics are just a small part of what can make a game great.
For almost twenty dollars, It’s A Wrap! offers players a good bit of gameplay if they want to play the game for everything it has to offer; for those who are looking for a platformer alone, the game falls short. The game is definitely worth checking out if you want something a bit different and can provide at least a few hours of excitement. Hell, the different deaths Johnny has alone can make it worth the pickup.
