Jonathan Gordon
Light gameplay and good graphics, average game
A solid mid-carder
Narrower in scope than its grand theme suggests
Still a great concept, but needs refinement
Not awful, but disappointingly lazy
Beautiful, but fails to capitalise on its potential
A functional narrative that needed a little subtlety
Visually stunning but a slog to play through
Some things are best left to memory
Bland and grindy, it's tough to recommend
Enjoyable, but suffers from a lack of upgrades
It's a shame that poor execution lets Entwined down so badly. The themes being explored here have the potential to be touching and are, unquestionably, underrepresented in videogames. Hopefully PixelOpus can learn from its mistakes and deliver something next time that better blends its interactive elements with these themes.
If only it could be so grossly incandescent
Not terrible – just so very disappointing.
Multiplayer or bust
One that only hardcore fans will enjoy
A grand idea that gets stuck in first gear
A weird experience that descends into boredom
A fun game marred by bizarre design choices
Interesting, but takes 20 hours to get going
