9.2 / 10.0 - Dishonored 2
Nov 12, 2016

Dishonored 2 does not stray from the path marked four years ago by his predecessor. And that's great. Dishonored 2 recovers the old philosophy and approach, then exalt the gameplay quality, expands the freedom, blows up the level design. Built with art and patience, Dishonored 2 is an endless source of surprises.

7 / 10.0 - Eagle Flight
Nov 10, 2016

Eagle Flight is certainly not one of the best experiences available for PSVR, but it is one of the most peculiar. The control system, the sense of speed, the exhilaration of the flight and the style of production manages to create an interesting mix

6.5 / 10.0 - Job Simulator (VR)
Nov 4, 2016

Instead of a real game, Job Simulator is a collection of interactive three-dimensional spaces, probably designed to represent a "first contact" with the world of virtual reality.

So far, New World Order is the weakest episode of this Dark Knight adventure.

Short but intense, the journey through Ariandel lands will entice longtime fans. Too bad for the very short duration of this (mis)adventure, that goes off in a few hours, voraciously consumed by those who have reached the endgame.

8 / 10.0 - Wayward Sky (VR)
Oct 21, 2016

Wayward Sky is a brilliant title, with some innovative ideas and a peculiar design. It is an adventure with a soft pace, all based on not too elaborate environmental puzzles. Yet, Wayward Sky plays in an fervent way with the sense of scale and the perspective deceptions of Virtual Reality.

5.5 / 10.0 - Battlezone (VR)
Oct 20, 2016

The fast and hectic gameplay is fairly pleasant, but the presence of a single mode, monotonous and with some balancing problem, limits the appeal of the game.

6 / 10.0 - Driveclub VR
Oct 19, 2016

Driveclub VR retrieves many of the contents included in the "classic" edition, but it would have needed a more careful optimization process, aimed primarily to "restructure" circuits and layouts and to lighten the rendering job. The new development team, instead, cut features and reduced visual enhancements. The result is a "scrambled" and ugly look.

9 / 10.0 - Battlefield 1
Oct 17, 2016

Battlefield 1 is a monumental shooter. Putting "aside" the Single Player campaign (fun, varied and spectacular but very short), the strengh of the production is obviously represented by the PvP. His large-scale battles are an experience that all multiplayer fans should try.

RIGS is an addictive game with a fresh concept and a pretty intense pace. Mixing an arcade sport simulation and a First Person Shooter, Guerrilla delivers some enjoyable action, either alone or online.

8 / 10.0 - Rez Infinite
Oct 16, 2016

One of the merits of PlayStation VR, beyond anything, is the fact that it brought Rez's great HD re-release to PS4. If you have never had the opportunity to try this milestone of the video game, you can buy the title even without having the viewer, sure to rediscover an ageless masterpiece. However, the ability to play with the headset is more than welcome. The gaming experience gains in terms of engagement, and the addition of Area X gives us a glimpse of how current, magnetic and wonderful Rez's formula still is. The hope is that this unprecedented level is just the starting point for an experience sewn around the potential of PlayStation VR.

Here They Lie is a disturbing psychological thriller, the digitization of a nightmare. The gaming experience is, for this reason, interesting and meaningful. Much of the credit goes to the virtual reality headset, which transforms this disturbing Walking Simulator in a hellish journey.

The classic game mode are not improven by the VR headset, and the loss of definition is really hard to bear. The Invasion Mode, the sole new feature of the package, is short and uninspired.

Rush of Blood is a simple on-rail shooter. It is an interesting introduction to virtual reality, but nothing more. The (few) hours spent with it, however, are sufficiently scary and entertaining

Batman Arkham VR is the first experiment of Rocksteady in the field of virtual reality, a successful attempt to get closer to this technology and to explore its expressive possibilities. The experience is really short, but the game has many other qualities. The graphics are among the best in the launch line-up of PlayStation VR, and the game shows excellent gameplay ideas, and a dynamic storytelling stitched around the player's movements.

The Playroom VR is a preliminary experience to Virtual Reality, perfect for the families and for younger players, but also fun to try out with a group of friends. Unlike PlayStation VR Worlds this "anthology" can be downloaded for free, and there isn't any reason not to install it.

Oct 13, 2016

PlayStation VR Worlds is one of the least interesting launch titles for PlayStation VR. And not because the five experiences it contains are poorly developed. Yet, their brevity almost disarming, and in the end it's impossible to feel satisfied by a collection of tech demos.

8.5 / 10.0 - Mafia 3
Oct 11, 2016

Mafia 3 will divide the audience; it's forced to live halfway between the technical problems and the excellence of a truly overwhelming narrative.

Rise of the Tomb Raider remains an incredible product for action/adventures fans. The twentieth anniversary edition is obviously the most complete: there are four additional mini-adventures, which extend the game experience, focusing on the figure of Lara, and playing with the emotional value of memories.

Children of Arkham begins with a couple of great scenes and an interesting plot twist. Unfortunately the central part of the episode doesn't work that well. The QTE-Based fights are dull, and the investigative component which had been one of the distinctive trait of the first episode is completely missing.
