Super Mario 3D World has aged quite well. It is still a very enjoyable adventure, updated in its rhythm and different enough from Super Mario Odyssey for those who came to Switch without going through Wii U to discover it. The big surprise is Bowser's Fury, which transcends the concept of simple DLC and adds mechanics and novelties of epic dimensions.

The Medium will not be the best psychological horror game in the world, but it engages like few others. Bloober Team once again raises a bar that dropped somewhat after Blair Witch and presents us at times two games in one, with quite effective mechanics despite its simplicity. A great gift for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, who will enjoy it from day one.

Hitman 3 is a perfect culmination for this trilogy of the World of Murder for the ambition in some of its levels, and the thousand and one possibilities of murder, which make you want to replay it until there is nothing left to discover.

Haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, touch panel, motion sensor, microphone, speaker... there is not a single feature missing from the game included in every PlayStation 5 to discover all the possibilities of the DualSense controller. In addition, it is a nostalgic journey through the history of PlayStation that has touched our hearts.

Call of Duty needs to lean on three pillars every year. If one staggers, like multiplayer, the taste in the mouth that leaves is not what we demand of an annual product, and that is the case of Black Ops Cold War. Luckily, it shouldn't take much more than the start of the Seasons and the arrival of new content to fix.

Despite its length, Marvel's Spider-man: Miles Morales is a great launch game for PS5 and a perfect example of the potential of the machine in the hands of the members of PlayStation Studios.

Beyond its rather ugly aesthetic (so it's not really going to bring out the capabilities of PS5), Bugsnax has been a fun and original game that you arrive at by capturing its more than 100 Bugsnax and you stay for the story and character development.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is the culmination of the new model for the saga that Origins established and Odyssey perfected.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About is an incredible return from a beloved franchise that hadn't had a new game for a decade. It takes everything that made the original trilogy great and expands it in a way we only think it could surpass... Naughty Dog itself.

Despite the lack of innovation or novelties that would have added something to the experience while respecting the structure of the original, returning to Lost Heaven with this quality has been an offer that we could not refuse and neither should you.

In a generation where NBA 2K had border on excellence as the norm, a last-minute change in gameplay due to a new shooting mechanic makes its farewell bittersweet. Hopefully in the face of a new generation they'll return to what worked in the past.

Despite once again proving that the DLCs for Borderlands 2 were considerably better than those for B3, Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck is an excellent addition to close the season of downloadable content for B3 and its best expansion among the four of the Season Pass.

You come to Marvel's Avengers to play their campaign and leave it a few hours later, fed up with repeating tedious missions just to get that gear or skin that you think you need.

Windbound starts off promisingly, but after a few hours it already seems to have shown everything it has to offer and from there we will only be hooked on solving its narrative mystery based on repeatability of objectives.

A good representation of Captain Tsubasa's soccer style. Very spectacular at times, but very tedious at others due to the limitation of its mechanics.

The post-apocalyptic Guerrilla game may reach a new group of users who have missed Aloy's adventures in their day. One of the best games of the generation, even better than in its original release.

The Spanish studio Mighty Polygon has given us a pleasant surprise with its puzzle game. Despite having a very small number of developers, they have achieved a game that can compete from one to the other with other greats of the genre such as The Turing Test or QUBE 2.

Without leaving the same taste in the mouth as the masterpiece that is its first installment, The Last of Us - Part 2 is an excellent game that will make us reflect on the value of loss in a cruel and violent world so perfectly reflected that the player is not comfortable performing certain crude actions. Undoubtedly, Naughty Dog again puts the finishing touch on a PlayStation generation.

Aware of its own limitations, Tripwire has opted for the fun of this particular power fantasy to present us with a game that will not be part of video game history or a candidate for GOTY, but that is undeniably enjoyable and funny in all its humorous packaging.
