For the 2021 season Milestone has worked mainly up to the point of improving an already quite satisfactory base, postponing the technical revolution for future chapters. It will not be the most explosive episode of the series, but MXGP 2021 remains definitely appreciable for its increasingly simulation-oriented soul. There are some flaws, such as an AI that is certainly not extraordinary and a graphic sector that can be improved, and there are very few substantial innovations: for veterans and motocross enthusiasts it is still an appointment undoubtedly recommended.

With Aragami 2, the development team changes art direction, fleshes out the gameplay with everything that has come out in recent years and adds content on content, preferring quantity to quality. With a little more care and a better finish, Aragami 2 could have been a jewel: as it is it remains an effective product, but still leaves a bit of a bitter taste in the mouth.

We loved SEGA's Olympic proposal: Tokyo 2020 Olympics - The official video game is fun and enjoyable to play. We would have liked some more discipline and above all some whole new game modes (maybe a "historical" to relive some legendary records). Overall, SEGA's multi-event title works and will give decidedly pleasant afternoons and evenings to live in the family in pursuit of the Olympic dream. See you in Paris 2024!

Monster Energy Supercross 3 is a great experience for those wanting to enjoy the atmosphere and thrill of the AMA Supercross championship, thanks to a rich Career mode and a great gameplay inspired by the last game form Milestone, MXGP 3.

Codemasters racing thrives on light and shadow. To attract the largest number of players, GRID Legends seems to have lost in part the common thread that had characterized the very good reboot in 2019. The trumpeted story mode "Driven to Glory", despite the good intentions, fails to add to the storytelling that drama and epicness (it does so in an aseptic, artificial way) that characterize the world of motorcyclesport.

Circuit Superstars is not a masterpiece but it is a game that has a certain charm. The car fleet is really remarkable, the driving system is surprisingly challenging, the graphic style is pleasant, the local multiplayer is hilarious: what is missing? A bit of variety.

NBA 2K24 is one of those titles difficult to judge and above all to which to attribute a numerical value that can balance its great playful goals and disappointing greed.

Ride 5 is the first episode designed and developed for the consoles of the current generation: just a few kilometers on the track to appreciate the simulative cut and the commitment to accessibility (neural aids work).

Accessibility is the watchword of F1 23. Codemasters has not limited itself to the task and has rearranged the driving model to make it less unpredictable and, above all, more suitable for those who do not compete with steering wheel and pedals.

Despite confirming itself as the best baseball simulation on the planet, MLB The Show 23 continues to manifest the same problem for several years: the graphics sector.

The simulation of San Diego Studio proves to be solid even in the new vintage: the gameplay remains sumptuous, even if some modes begin to feel the weight of the years. From this point of view, we expected something new. The ability to play it directly on the GamePass on Day One is an added value for all baseball fans on Xbox, while the arrival on Nintendo Switch will make many players happy.

It is difficult to have anything to complain about the content offer of MotoGP 22: there is everything that the two-wheeler enthusiast could wish for.

Porpoising aside, Codemasters has done a good job of reproducing the regulation change that revolutionized the world of F1. Fun to play, impressive to watch, F1 22 stands out for an above-average AI and a driving model that perfectly sums up the concept of simcade.

The restoration is more or less in line with expectations: the inclusion of Radical Dreamers, a discreet reinterpretation of the audio / visual sector, a good localization in Italian and new game mechanics to attract younger users or newcomers to the genre.

Never testimonial was more apt: Rey Mysterio, in fact, with a spectacular 619 has swept away all the uncertainties of the past projecting the Visual Concepts wrestling series into a new dimension, that of the next-gen.

UnMetal is one of those games that you start without a real reason and end at all costs. It is not a masterpiece be clear, but a very good game to have some healthy laughter in front of dialogues that are a mix of absurdity and pure idiocy. UnMetal is a tribute from beginning to end to the Metal Gear series: more than the typical action hero, Jesse Fox looks like the somewhat crazy clone of Snake. For those looking for something fun to play and for all lovers of retrogaming, UnMetal is a breath of fresh air in a videogame landscape that takes itself a little too seriously.
