As is Good Job! it remains an interesting and well packaged product, but ultimately also a little "light". In short, net of a not very popular price, a side dish not bad to alternate perhaps with much more structured and demanding experiences.

As it stands, Bleeding Edge appears to be a fascinating bet, but perhaps also a gamble on the part of Ninja Theory. Once again, the British developers did not lack the courage nor the appreciable desire to get out of the box, daring to propose something surprisingly far from their canons: the result is a strange online team fighting game with shades of MOBA, which if on the one hand it stands out for its pleasantly over-the-top character and for a satisfying depth of gameplay - but destined to emerge only by arming itself with patience and a close-knit team in tow - on the other it denotes manifest limits of content and a certain immaturity in the development. Who knows, maybe it would have made sense to postpone the release for a few months, presenting itself at launch with more substance (both in the essence of the gameplay and in everything that is exquisitely contour), or opt for a 100% free to play formula. In any case, the potential at Bleeding Edge certainly does not seem to be lacking, and indeed the basis for something encouraging can still be seen: it remains to be seen what the support for the title will be in the medium / long term, the only factor actually able to transform what today is a promise with a lot of personality in a truly noteworthy exclusive.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps is the worthy sequel of one of the best games ever published on Xbox One: a stellar return by Moon Studios, one that confirms the talent of a very unique software house. Too bad for some technical flaws and for a code that appears to be a lot less polished than expected: even as it is Will of the Wisps remains a game that's impossible to miss, stating once again the importance and the diversity of this franchise inside the Xbox galaxy.

Sayonara Wild Hearts will certainly mesmerize you with a stunning audiovisual trip that will take your breath away, but at the same time it can also be a limited experience in terms of gameplay and interaction. It might not even be a proper video game, but instead a glorified music visualizer built around an obscure and fascinating representation of love. It's all very pleasing and undoubtedly worth celebrating, yet not so easy to universally recommend at 20 literally cents per minute.

Gears 5 is a very solid chapter in one of the sagas that truly define Xbox as a gaming platform: an episode that boldly reaffirms the attitude of the Lancer-armored squads and the talent of The Coalition as a studio ' stopping just a small step before excellence.

As it is Astral Chain is still a massive exclusive and one of the best video games of 2019: not bad for an absolute debut!

A quirky roguelike adventure surprisingly built around the mechanics of a rhythm game: the result is a Zelda that's surely different from the norm, yet one that has little to envy to all the other chapters (even from the most acclaimed).

You'll probably come for the brutal, unrelenting and deeply satisfying action, but eventually it's the original and fascinating narrative side that will win you over: simply put, Katana ZERO is the surprise hit of 2019.

A charming little adventure with a good heart, a quirky atmosphere and a fascinating tone. Pros and cons can for once essentially be the same: some will be delighted by the randomness and the utter simplicity of the whole experience, while others might find it a bit too much.

Despite the magnificent aesthetic inspiration and the stunning overall atmosphere, Friend & Foe is unfortunately no Team ICO (especially concerning some of the key aspects that make a video game worth playing): as a result Vane is an imperfect, uneven and at times even excruciating adventure. But also one that, along with its lows, is still capable of memorable, evocative highs.

The Gardens Between is a game that's overall pretty fun to play, but also one that won't leave you with very much in the end: a not so insignificant flaw for something that's trying to celebrate the value of remembrance.

It's hard to say if the old concept of 'killer application' still makes sense in 2018, but in any case do not miss this wondrous space Odyssey: if you already own PlayStation VR absolutely play this memorable platformer, and if you don't... here's a solid reason to get

Capcom Beat 'Em Up Bundle is a celebration of cult classics and a tribute to a beloved genre that was never forgotten: for 19.99' you can bring yourself home a piece of history that still deserves to be discovered and played, one continue after another. In other words, don't miss this hymn to pure arcade fun.

Immortal: Unchained is an intriguing premise ' the concept of a sci-fi soulslike based on firearms ' ultimately turned into one of the worst video games in years: a game that's uninspired, ill-conceived and at times completely broken. Do yourself a favor and stay away from a frustrating experience that simply isn't worth your time and money.

Strange Brigade is a guilty pleasure that's not easy to resist to: despite a few flaws, Rebellion managed to create a competent third person shooter that oozes with character.

A very traditional sequel of a little indie cult: Juan's return is still OK, but ultimately lacks the inspiration and the freshness that made the original so great. Maybe Guacamelee! was simply a better game overall, or maybe smash hits such as Hollow Knight and Dead Cells changed the face of the metroidvania genre for good: eventually Guacamelee! 2 leaves a pretty nice impression, but one that's far from the stellar debut.

Donkey Kong is a pleasant expansion, with a gameplay changed and adapted to the needs of the characters. Inspired, colored, passionate, he only sins in the repetitiveness of his enemies.
