To truly enjoy Dawn of War – Definitive Edition, it’s essential to keep expectations grounded, bearing in mind that this is a game released more than 20 years after the original. Relic has limited the remaster’s improvements to higher resolutions and compatibility with modern systems, which makes for an acceptable experience but not one that meets the standards of today’s strategy titles. As such, the game is best recommended for those who played the original and now, thanks to minor upgrades and the inclusion of a complete, valuable package of all previously released content, want to relive their memories. If you belong to this group, Dawn of War – Definitive Edition is definitely worth experiencing. But if you approach it expecting a brand-new modern RTS, you’ll likely be disappointed.

Overall, Bloober Team proves with Cronos: The New Dawn that it has reached a solid level of maturity in crafting horror experiences—even without relying on a big name like Silent Hill. The game’s relatively slow-paced storytelling may not appeal to everyone, but patient players will find themselves rewarded with a gripping narrative. Similarly, the gameplay blends the best elements of survival horror with creative ideas—such as enemies merging into new threats—and only really falls short in its somewhat underwhelming puzzles. On the technical side, top-notch visuals, excellent sound design, and masterful atmosphere-building deliver a genuinely terrifying experience, despite occasional frame drops. For horror fans, Cronos is easily one of the best choices available right now—and one you definitely shouldn’t miss.

Overall, Heretic + Hexen is a highly valuable collection for a couple of types of players. First, those who experienced the original releases back in the day can now revisit these classics in a complete package on modern systems or consoles and enjoy a wave of nostalgia. Second, fans of classic shooters like Doom who never had the chance to try Heretic and Hexen when they first came out. For these players too, thanks to the exciting combat, well-designed levels, and excellent music, the games still offer hours of pure fun. So, if you fall into either of these groups, Heretic + Hexen—with its fair price and high content value—is one of the best gaming experiences you can pick up right now, and one I strongly recommend not missing.

Overall, while Shadow Labyrinth doesn’t quite rank among the top-tier Metroidvania games of recent years, it’s definitely worth experiencing at least once. The game offers a good variety of core mechanics, fun character-switching between different creatures, some well-designed boss fights, and diverse environments. However, these strengths are somewhat overshadowed by flaws like inconsistent difficulty balancing, occasionally stiff and clunky combat, and graphics that fall short of expectations.

Overall, Elden Ring: Nightreign offers a different kind of experience—both compared to the original Elden Ring and within FromSoftware’s entire body of work. But this difference works in its favor, resulting in a compelling experience. It might not be all that exciting to play solo, but in the ideal scenario—with a solid team by your side—it’s easy to get lost for hours in its epic, unforgettable battles and the thrill of taking down its many bosses. So if you’ve always enjoyed the challenging combat of the Souls series and Elden Ring, and don’t mind a reduced focus on exploration and storytelling, Nightreign could be a deeply rewarding experience for you.

Overall, it’s fair to say that id Software has once again succeeded in creating a game worthy of carrying the legendary DOOM name. The Dark Ages takes some risks and introduces new features, but in the end, most of these decisions and changes pay off in the final experience. The Dark Ages is an unforgettable, adrenaline-fueled festival of demon-slaying, and if you're a fan of the DOOM series—or first-person action games in general—you absolutely shouldn’t miss out on the thrill of playing it.

Overall, Civilization 7 still retains the timeless spirit of the Civilization series and can be counted on as an experience to be entertained by for a long time. However, some of the development team's decisions regarding changes and new features in the game are questionable and may especially annoy longtime fans. Nevertheless, if you have always dreamed of creating your own civilization, Civilization 7 is a delightful and addictive experience and can serve as a good entry point for those who have always been hesitant to try it due to the series' perceived complexity.

Overall, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, despite having some issues mentioned in the review, is one of those games with a unique identity, creating a strange allure that pulls players in like a trap. Personally, when I wasn't playing, I had a strong desire to return and immerse myself in the mysterious world of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, a feeling I can't recall experiencing with any other video game recently. The detailed story, which directly reacts to the gamer's behavior, engaging gameplay, and outstanding atmosphere are positive features that make S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 one of the most respectable titles of this year. Especially since the game is available on Game Pass, I highly recommend giving it a chance.

Overall, Shin Chan: Shiro and the Coal Town is a very heartfelt, lovely, and relaxing game that excellently captures the unique storytelling style of anime in a video game format. Although it might lack some challenge, especially for adult players, if you're seeking a bit more tranquility in your daily life and want to enjoy a story with lovable characters and get lost in stunningly beautiful scenery, you won't regret experiencing Shin Chan: Shiro and the Coal Town.

If you enjoy linear action-adventure games, Unknown 9: Awakening is worth a try. The game has decent character development, and while its stealth system and melee combat don't quite meet current standards, creative ideas can be implemented through the main character's magical abilities. Unknown 9: Awakening could have offered a higher-quality experience with some better optimization of the mechanics, but in its current state, it can still entertain you quite well for about 8 hours.

Overall, Vessel of Hatred is a valuable addition to Diablo 4. While it has issues like the lack of a charismatic antagonist, this DLC offers great content that motivates both long-time players and newcomers who want to try Diablo 4 for the first time. The Spiritborn class with its diverse builds, new endgame content, and increased difficulty levels will make it enjoyable for a long time. The addictive nature of the game's gameplay, combined with these features, can keep any Diablo fan entertained for a long time while they battle demonic forces. So if you enjoyed the main game, I recommend not missing out on Vessel of Hatred.
