Piccolo Studio's debut leaves a game that will linger in your mind for long, a simple adventure in its form, but with a message as beautiful as painful. One more example that videogames are a great medium to transmit a message and, as Journey and similar games, they are playable poetry. If you like this kind of offerings, go get it without doubt.

An interesting mix of genres (rogue-lite, twin shooter, RPG...), that shines with its atmosphere and exploration bits, but that results a little bit plain in the way the action unfolds. It doesn't help some design choices, like the repetition of the whole level if we die... but if you like Lovecraft, it can hook you.

Deadly Premontion Origins it's a cult classic that keeps being as shocking as surprising, a unique survival horror that you'll love or hate. We're from the first group, and still amazes us how crazy and strange it is, if you can forgive its technical flaws (looks like a PS2 game). Switch's port it's far from perfect, but now you can enjoy anywhere.

As the previous episode, Vader Immortal Episode III last 25 minutes, dojo Jedi aside. A very short experience that hit the same weaknesses, although it leaves some interesting and bright moments like a saber fight with Vader... that last very little. Gameplay wise, it doesn't go the extra mile... but the Star Wars charm it's strong with it.

85 / 100 - GYLT
Nov 18, 2019

GYLT is an adventure that, under the paradigm of an survival game, invites you to think about a real horror, the bullying. Its Tequila's more mature game, both in the narrative as in the playable and technical side, but it may feel a short game and not a very challenging one. As Stadia's first contact, it works like a charm.

As a multiplayer experience, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games: Tokyo 2020 can be consider the "1-2 Switch" of this Xmas, a fun game that is enjoyed when playing with friends, even if it lacks events and story mode feels short and child oriented. If you want it to play alone, there are better options...

Luigi's Mansion 3 is, without doubt, the best entry of the series. As simple as that. Levels are much more varied and visual astounding, a little delight that you can fully play alone or in coop mode, multiplayer modes aside. Its lovely sense of humor, the sympathy of the ghosts, and the 20+ hours to finish (more for the 100%) make the rest.

82 / 100 - Valfaris

If you're still thirsty for classic run & gun Contra lookalike, the new game from Slain's developer it's just that: a pixelated heavy metal orgy full of shots, sword swinging and blood. A classic template, but with an enormous weapon selection, environments and lots of bosses. The experts on the genre may find it an intense, but short, ride.

87 / 100 - Indivisible
Oct 7, 2019

An interesting mix of genres, with a unique visual style, tons of humor and, salvo por algunos fallos menores, it unfolds like a very enjoyable and unexpected surprise that will enjoy all those seeking for a different game, long and with its own personality. No doubt, Indivisible it's one of 2019 biggest's surprises.

Only 25 minutes of gameplay juego, Jedi training aside, makes this Vader Immortal Episode 2 an ephemeral VR experience that will leave you wantinv more. More intense and joyful than the first episode, but with less content at the same price. Even with it's great inmmersion and atmosphere, It doesn't offer anything not seen before in other VR games.

80 / 100 - Aggelos
Sep 20, 2019

Aggelos it's a time travel, an adventure in the vein of those that we enjoyed in the 16-bit era, An oversaturated genre even in Switch (pixel art, platforming and 2D metroidvania action) with a style of gameplay adapted to nowaday tastes. It's not an innovative title, but it's fun, pretty and its right pace helps to get hooked till the end.

It's the same game of 2015, but now with all the DLCs included and the ability to play it anywhere. A reasonably good port if, as in other LEGO games' ports, you forgive some little issues, like some blurry textures. It keeps the spanish voiceover, that always is a welcome news (although it's downsampled).

Groundhog Day Like Father Like is an entertaining follow-up to Bill Murray's classic movie, que replica los aciertos de la película de manera jugable. No es especialmente largo ni innovador en lo jugable, pero si te gusta la película y experiencias como Job Simulator, aquí tienes una buena propuesta.

One of the most complete pinball games on the market, with 19 tables, lots of game modes (including career) and a strong online community element -choose your side of the Force- that make it one of the better pinball games on the market. Add all the Star Wars charm, characters, music... and sure you will fall in love if you try it.

83 / 100 - Blasphemous
Sep 9, 2019

A "Soulsvania" game with its own character, that draws artistic inspiration from the spanish Easter imagery and Goya's paintings las pinturas, both in the visual and the narrative. In gameplay terms, it's a superb and hard adventure that mixes with intelligence ideas from the lesser linear Castlevanias with Dark Souls mechanics.

Final Fantasy VIII it's one of the all-time best J-RPG created by Square Enix, modern or classic. It showed an amazing courage to make things different, with it's own visual style, a wonderful OST... There are lots of things that make this a truly classics, all present in the remaster, even if some, like backgrounds, deserved a better treatment.

Natsume shows one more time its mastery updating 16 bits classics, now with a beat'em up that keeps amazing and entertaining as the first time... For somple players maybe falls short in length and leave you wanting more: the 8 levels can be completed in less than 2 hours. Even with that, it's very fun and another hit for those that love couch coop.

78 / 100 - PAWARUMI
Jul 30, 2019

Pawarumi takes the idea behind the classic Ikaruga and tries to exploit it even further... buf without the refinement of the Treasure gem. It has great ideas, good graphic design, personality... but often you won't know what you are doing because it's a little bit confusing. Even worst it's that it lack content (only 5 levels).

79 / 100 - Blazing Chrome
Jul 11, 2019

Blazing Chrome it's a love letter to a genre and two specific sagas, with a top notch pixel art, levels with different gameplay and local coop for two. But, at the same time, it doesn't go far away from the original run and gun formula. It venerates it more than innovate it, and because of that all you will see have been done before in other games.
