The Last of Us Part 1 comes to PC with a disastrous optimization and performance problems, evident especially in more modest equipment and with graphics of previous generations (and Steam Deck). In these cases, I would wait to see how it evolves. With a cucumber equipped with one of the latest graphics, you will enjoy a superior visual spectacle.

55 / 100 - Hello Neighbor
Jul 26, 2018

A "family friendly" survival horror that's far from giving us goosebumps. It lacks polishment (glitches, bugs... that make de game uglier) and offers a broken control that's its our worst enemy, more than the neighbor. It looks like a twisted Pixar movie, but way more plain. It relies on a good idea, but executed in the worst possible way.

58 / 100 - The Invincible
Nov 4, 2023

The Invincible is a walking simulator that, starting from a good story, fails to adapt it to a video game in a satisfactory way. It's a slow game, with accessory and sometimes unnecessary mechanics that at times feels more like a visual novel with playable "globs". And that's a shame, because there was potential in its atmosphere.

Jurassic World: Aftermath focuses its gameplay on one of the iconic scenes from the first film (the kitchen scene), making the stealth the main course and avoiding the raptors a chore you'll be repeating durint the 3-4 hours that lasts. It's slow and repetitive, you'll probably get tired very soon.

Operation Wolf Returns is not the update of the classic formula that many expected, and between the fact that it is a short game and is quite generic as an action game in virtual reality, it does not take the opportunity to bring back a remembered license from the 80s.

The base idea and the setting looked promising, but the core experience is too light and simple. It's a pity, because it had more potential.

Everybody 1-2 Switch! Repeat as a game that you are going to take out to liven up parties and meetings, and although there are missing modes and options (such as being able to skip the previous instructions of the tests) and its minigames are simpler and not all equally inspired, the games for 100 and its ability to entertain everyone equally is still its main asset.

65 / 100 - Gungrave G.O.R.E
Nov 22, 2022

Gungrave G.O.R.E. is an action game "like before", exactly like those of the PS2 era, and it shows in everything from graphics to control. It is an "old" game, niche, but it does not stop having its audience, charm and ability to entertain. If the Gungrave series is your thing, you're going to enjoy it. The rest, maybe not so much.

65 / 100 - Gal*Gun Returns
Feb 19, 2021

Gal Gun Returns it's the "softest" game of this ecchi oriented shooting arcade series. As a remaster of the first game, it lacks some options seen in the sequel, like the dating sim options, and it focuses on the shooting side. It's a simple game, but if you like its crazy proposal, you'll have a fun time.

Only 25 minutes of gameplay juego, Jedi training aside, makes this Vader Immortal Episode 2 an ephemeral VR experience that will leave you wantinv more. More intense and joyful than the first episode, but with less content at the same price. Even with it's great inmmersion and atmosphere, It doesn't offer anything not seen before in other VR games.

68 / 100 - LEGO 2K Drive
May 15, 2023

LEGO 2K Drive has many good things: a story mode, mini-games, online mode for up to 6 friends... but many of these virtues are soiled by a micropayment system reminiscent of NBA 2K, and that makes it necessary to go through the box to unlock some content. Something questionable, in a game so oriented to children.

The Room VR it's the new entry on the veteran series, a puzzle game that shines in VR with a collection of surprising puzzles with some impressive situations, that in the end feels very, very short (a couple of hours, little more if you get stuck) that feels even worse given its actual price...

As the previous episode, Vader Immortal Episode III last 25 minutes, dojo Jedi aside. A very short experience that hit the same weaknesses, although it leaves some interesting and bright moments like a saber fight with Vader... that last very little. Gameplay wise, it doesn't go the extra mile... but the Star Wars charm it's strong with it.

68 / 100 - Anyone's Diary
Feb 6, 2019

An interesting VR proposal that convinces on the audiovisual and the narrative way to tell its story, but it suffers technical shortcommings and bugs (we had to restart some chapters a couple of times)... Nothing that cannot be fixed with a patch. It's not a long experience: the end can be reached in an hour (3 more runs to get all the trophies).

68 / 100 - Left Alive
Mar 8, 2019

Left Alive it's a tough game, hard and even unfair (because of the enemy's IA), with a non very responsible control, a questionable checkpoint system and other shortcomings, even from the technical side. Mechas, stealth, action... neither of its elements shine completely. But, even with that, it has "something" that can hook you up to keep playing.

Downward Spiral is an adventure that gives you the most when its played with PS VR and Move controllers. Without them, the game loses its charm and the shortcomings are more evident: non impressive graphics, slow progression, bugs... It's not a game for every PS VR owner, but if you love the space flicks from the 70s you probably will enjoy it.

68 / 100 - Gal*Gun 2
Apr 11, 2018

"Fan service" in its purest state: if you like anime, "eroge", rail shooters, date sims and japanese weirdness (shoot pheromones to fight demons, really?), then Gal Gun 2 has all you've been looking for. The rest of the players should approach with caution and open mind: its absurd humor and the way it handles the female roles may scare your away.

The Longest Five Minutes does some things right, like the original starting premise, but soon all tends to be very simplistic in gameplay terms. At some points it seems as a visual novel with light game elements that were introduced in the last minute. Anyway, if you like the genre, the good stories and the 8 bit RPG era, you will enjoy it.

A beautiful fighting game that falls short in number of characters and game modes. Gamepad configuration and tabletop controls need improvement.

68 / 100 - Punch Club
May 24, 2018

Under a beautiful art, Punch Club it's a life simulator under a sport management sim appearance. You have to manage your time to train, work, buy food, work on your relations, rest... and fight. It's a shame that combats are automatic: if they were playable, probably the game would have been more fun to play.
