South Park: The Fractured But Whole is a good game, but fails at living up to the expectations set by its predecessor The Stick of Truth. Unfortunately, the gameplay was padded so much with filler that it killed the pacing. In Ubisoft's desire to make a Triple-A blockbuster, they instead weakened something that could've been a Double-A masterpiece.
While still decent, the expansion to Breath of the Wild doesn't hit the same tune that the base game did.
The port of Human Fall Flat to the Nintendo Switch is ok but far from great. The game is definitely a worthwhile play if you like phyics-based puzzles, but maybe pick it up on a light discount.
While the base gameplay of the title is solid and great, the lack of variety really hurts it. This is especially upsetting as the game is highly polished in virtually every single aspect. With a few improvements, the game could really be something very unique and special. Since the base gameplay is solid, you might find to enjoy it if you play it for shorter section. Are you entertained by goofy humour and are looking for something low-stress to play inbetween sessions? You might find this title to be quite interesting.
Rocket League is an insanely fun game and absolutely worth its price. It's quite possible that its pricetag is lower simply due to the available unintrusive further monetization options. This is of course a good thing for the budget-orientated gamer.
Overall, Super Mario Odyssey is a fantastic game that is really hard to put down. What makes the game so engaging is the well-executed gameplay that also has an absolutely insane amount of variety.
SteamWorld Dig 2 has absolutely fantastic gameplay that builds on well onto the already strong gameplay of the original. Unless you dislike platformers, you should put this game onto your radar.
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is one of the easiest strategy games to get into. It teaches the mechanics to the players well and encourages them to experiment with them. If you are interested in tactical games, you should definitely try it out. Especially, as the game is void of any major flaws. The whacky humour further adds to the charm of the game.
While the game has a gorgeous artstyle and follows music and instruments thematically, it has many issues. The game is slow and a lot of its playtime seems to be made up of backtracking and repetitive content. Unless you are looking for something slow and simple to play couch-coop with, you might want to skip the game at its current form this time.
