Red Dead Redemption 2 is pure excellence and a milestone for open world games. Sprawling details and superb ambiance, Rockstar Games' title is the definitive version of a Wild West game. The creation of the world, characters and the technical quality presented will perpetuate for years, just as its predecessor did.

Ghost of Tsushima can be considered one of the best open world games of this generation, mainly for its sublime ambience and fantastic art direction. The journey of Jin Sakai and the universe created is very interesting, specially for what can happen beyond that. A fun gameplay, rich world, captivating characters and more, make the latest Playstation 4 exclusive a more than worthy closure for the generation.

Saying that Metro Exodus is the best game in the Metro series is no exaggeration. The vast improvements are remarkable and deliver a fantastic game, even now when shooting games are only recognized by the online factor. Enhanced narrative, charismatic characters, excellent gameplay and flawless visuals make Metro Exodus one of the best shooting games of the generation. Exodus brings a pleasant nostalgia and is mandatory for fans of the franchise as well as worshippers of the genre.

The insanity of its universe and the best combat system ever made make Borderlands 3 the best game in the franchise. An extensive campaign, captivating characters and various alternative game modes heighten the interest in the title and the fun that comes with it. Even though technical problems and badly developed villains may undermine some of the quality of the game, there are a lot of positive stuff and dozens of hours of fun guaranteed in Gearbox Software's crazy franchise universe.

The similarity with other games is remarkable, but does not overlap with the quality that the title presents. An interesting story, a lively and aggressive world, well-defined protagonist and excellent combat makes the Bend Studio title an excellent choice for owners of a PlayStation 4.

Children of Morta greatly mixes action RPG and roguelite styles, creating a fresh experience every time you play. The narrative development and the stories that make up the Bergson family are capable of holding the player more than the gameplay itself. While minor technical issues are frequent with the console version, nothing detracts from the great experience the title provides.

Remnant: From the Ashes can positively use various aspects of other games while creating an unique identity. As one of the biggest surprises of the year, we have a great cooperative shooter, with good depth in its gameplay and challenging in the right measure.
