I was a little disappointed that you didn’t see any of the actual heralds from the comics, but just herald versions of characters already in the game.
Canu Arts decided to utilize the fixed camera to bring about that sense of dread which would accompany exploration in the early Resident Evil games, but it’s that same fixed camera that is going to kill you the most.
… the complete care and dedication that went into recreating an excellent replica from the 8-16 bit era certainly helps offset the frustration.
If you’re a stealth fan, I strongly recommend this one. Even if you’re just a casual gamer, there’s lots of goodness to be found in Aragami. Stylish and challenging, Aragami certainly brings enough to the table to win over gamers of all kinds.
Their newest release, Marvel’s Women of Power celebrates the female superheroes in the Marvel Universe with a pair of super fun, albeit slightly confusing, tables featuring our favourite heroines.
Worms W.M.D. brings the franchise back with new bells and whistles to spice the game up.
The expansive vistas of the alien world in Lifeless Planet add to the loneliness and the emptiness of being the sole living being on an entire planet (sort of).
Goodbye, Nathan Drake. Thanks for the memories.
Overall, Shelter is an indie game that accomplishes most of what it sets out to do
As I've already stated, Galactic Civilizations III is a must have for fans of the genre. The Mercenaries expansion adds to the already great game with new races to play with, new campaigns to conquer and new ways to dominate the galaxy.
Fans of the genre will enjoy the game but won't find much in the way of innovation or differences than other musou's in their collections.
The strength of Dragon's Dogma lies in its combat and its combatants.
As for the much talked about framerate drop, I was expecting for the game to be unplayable with plummeting framerates and glitches. Turns out that the framerates were mostly fine except when things got seriously chaotic.
As a standalone, it works as a solid bike racing game. As an expansion, it's that and more
In summary, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 is pretty much a poorly done remake of THPS 2. In the year 2000, this game was innovative, fun and an absolute delight to play. But this is 2015. There should be dramatic changes in the gameplay, in the challenge, in everything! To replicate a game that is older than my nephew and to have it come out on a new generation console with bugs? I'm kind of surprised someone actually even took credit for this game.
Overall, if you're in to punishing yourself with some turn based violence, than Skyshine's Bedlam is for you. It's not exactly polished and it still needs a little work, but it's definitely a worthwhile game.
A few drawbacks in the game won't stop you from enjoying this in-depth strategy game and pouring an exorbitant amount of time into propelling your Lord to the top of the Feudal food chain.
Overall, The Bridge gets by well on its unique influence, style and on its difficulty.
[S]ome game mechanic issues and maxing out your armies, coupled with an undercover pay-to-play issue, keeps it from being a great investment. Regardless, if you're old enough to remember playing with the toys found in this game, or you just want a good tower defense game to play, this is definitely one to check out!
If you're looking for some melon scratching and quite fun puzzle solving, this is the game for you. If you're just looking to cheaply fill the void between Portal games, I would recommend Q.U.B.E. be one of your top picks.
