8 / 10.0 - Double Cross
Jan 10, 2019

I had a great time with Double Cross. Its wonderfully done combat and visuals, along with the creativity behind its multitude of worlds, all come to fruition in what is genuinely a fresh, exciting game.

7 / 10.0 - Joggernauts
Oct 19, 2018

The game isn't for everyone but definitely has its audience. If you're looking for a fast-paced auto-running platformer to play with friends, Joggernauts is probably up your alley. Just don't go in expecting more than a fun, little title to keep yourself entertained with for just a little while.

Overall, Mutant Mudds Collection is well worth its budget price tag. It is a killer title to have if you're a retro-fan like myself, but it's also worth the buy for its array of gameplay options. The collection as a whole was obviously given care, and the fact is made obvious by its sleek presentation. Its visuals are incredibly gorgeous, the unique chiptune sounds will have you jamming in no time, and the gameplay is perfect – Mutant Mudds Collection is a stand-out title on the Nintendo Switch eShop.

7 / 10.0 - Chess Ultra
Nov 14, 2017

Chess Ultra is a nice little game to own. When Nintendo first began marketing the Switch, they really hammered home the idea of taking it where you go, and playing it to pass the time. I feel that this title is a perfect example of that. If a player has a few hours to kill, it's probably best to play a big game like Super Mario Odyssey or The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. On the other hand, if someone has a mere few minutes to spare, turning on the Switch and playing a match of Chess would surely suffice.

Overall, Minecraft on New 3DS is exactly what I imagined it to be: a portable version of a game we've all played several times. If you're in the market for a portable version of Minecraft, just get it on Nintendo's newest system, the Switch.
