In the first half there is too little going on with the flat characters. Even with it's heartpounding finale, the more intense second half can only do so much to remedy the experience as a whole.

Well adjusted scarcity, solid combat and limited saving opportunities create intense Survival Horror. The qualities of The Sinking City 2 may not be on par with Resident Evil Requiem, but those who wish for less emphasis on action and love the Cthulhu-infused 1920s setting may like this game more than what Capcom is offering.

Compared to significantly higher-budget survival horror games like "Resident Evil Requiem" or the remake of "Dead Space," "The Sinking City 2" may not quite reach the heights of the genre's giants, at least technically and in terms of sheer perfection. However, the story, the game world design, and the blend of adventure, action, and horror elements make it a must-play for genre fans in terms of gameplay and atmosphere!

The combat in Beast of Reicarnation ist spectacular and shows ever more facets over time. It's such a joy I can look past most of it's shortcomings.

However, the game's core strength lies in its spectacular combat, which becomes increasingly multifaceted and impressive as the game progresses, thanks to numerous active and passive skills.

Whether playing solo or with others in co-op mode, we had a blast with "Splatoon Raiders" thanks to the spectacular mass battles, diverse weapons, cool gadgets, and motivating crafting and other upgrade options.

Actions fans who don't know the original should undoubtedly set sail. But even if your are a veteran, buying Assassin's Creed - Black Flag Resynced is worth it for enjoying the game again in it's best looking version by far. I had lots of fun doing exactly that!

With "Star Fox," Nintendo has delivered a successful remake on the Switch 2, boasting stylish graphics, fun firefights, snappy dialogue, and cool boss battles. However, the gameplay mechanics remain very close to the original.

8 / 10.0 - EA Sports UFC 6
Jun 11, 2026

While for me EA's UFC series still hasn't reached to enormous heights of the bygone Undisputed games by THQ, the quality standard of UFC is high. It delivers a complex, very realistic sports simulation with top-notch presentation.

8.5 / 10.0 - Gothic 1 Remake
Jun 8, 2026

People who don't know the original might have a hard time finding into the game with the lack of handholding and tutorials. But the story and atmosphere are strong, the world vast and varied, the dub great and the music beyond any doubt. As fan of the original Gothic, I am so very pleased how Alkimia Interactive captured all these strenghts and even added new areas, NPCs and quests in a way like they've always been there. Some troublesome bugs are still there but the devs already seem to be on their way to squash them. As they say in Gothic: All will be well.

For us, however, this laid-back exploration concept works very well, especially since the manageable gameplay challenge is, in our opinion, ultimately exactly the right decision. We enjoy the diverse creatures, the use of their abilities, and the presentation, which is brimming with countless loving details.

"LEGO Batman: The Dark Knight's Legacy" skillfully blends typical LEGO style and humor with countless gameplay elements borrowed from Rocksteady Studios' Batman games. It's undoubtedly a kind of lighter version of "Batman: Arkham Knight," as the battles, while highly entertaining and the puzzles beautifully creative, aren't particularly challenging, even on the highest difficulty setting.

9 / 10.0 - Saros
Apr 24, 2026

Saros would already be a great game as a traditional shooter, or a simple roguelite or bullet-hell-game. Combining it all together makes Saros a must have for everyone, who doesn't shy away from challenging, lightning fast action.
