Shaan Joshi's Reviews
While a touch-focused first person dungeon crawler might sound crazy on paper, Severed's unique brand of combat is as deep as it is engaging. Oh, and the visuals and soundtrack are bonkers to boot.
In Between might be mistaken for just another puzzle platformer, but it's anything but. It tackles some serious subject matter with a level of confidence that is rarely seen in games today.
Watch Dogs 2 is everything the original should have been, complete with an interesting cast of characters, a vibrant city to explore, and the freedom to tackle missions as you see fit.
Whether you played the original or not, Drawful 2 is a great excuse to gather a few friends, uncork a few drinks, and spend the evening indoors, laughing with (and occasionally at) your friends.
While it's not nearly as enjoyable as a solo outing, Overcooked is one of the best party games we've played in years. Just make sure you bring some friends or family along for the ride.
With a revamped stealth system, improved AI, and massive sandbox-style levels, Sniper Elite 4 is hands-down the best game in the series.
ARMS may not appeal to one crowd in particular, but its vibrant visuals, punchy soundtrack and satisfying combat will undoubtedly be a hit with the masses.
Whether you're a seasoned arsonist or a novice firestarter, Little Inferno is still worth checking out even years after its original release.
Knack II completely eclipses its predecessor with a revamped combat system, gorgeous visuals, and a new focus on platforming and puzzles.
While the newly-included Minion Quest falls short of the mark, the core content of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's Minions holds up surprisingly well, even after all these years.
If you missed out on the originals from last year, or if you're dying to revisit Alola, Pokémon Ultra Sun And Ultra Moon are must-haves.
Colorful visuals, a catchy soundtrack, drop-in-drop-out co-op; Kirby Star Allies checks all the boxes, making it a must-have for your next lazy Sunday gaming session.
Despite a few missteps in its open world design, Insomniac Games has delivered on its promise. Needless to say, this is the best Spider-Man game to date.
Yoshi's Crafted World is full of charm and wonder, which more than makes up for its lack of challenge or complexity.
Nearly a decade after its original release and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn is still an absolute joy to play. It oozes charm and style, and its gorgeous visuals, excellent soundtrack, and creative use of platforming make up for the lackluster new content.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection does little to improve on the series' gameplay, but the visual facelift is more than enough of a reason to give these two genre greats another go.
The Last of Us Part I is far from a wholly necessary experience, but it's a well-crafted and polished one from start to finish.
Splatoon 3 might not reinvent the wheel, but it more than makes up for it with the most fully-featured and polished entry in the series to date.
The chips might have been stacked against them, but Warner Bros. and Avalanche Software have delivered on their promise. Hogwarts Legacy is the game that fans have been waiting for, laying down a solid foundation to build off of moving forward.
Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe showcases the best of Kirby's unique brand of 2D platforming. Unfortunately, veteran players will have to slog through the main campaign one more time to see everything on offer.
