8.5 / 10.0 - Samurai Shodown
Jul 3, 2019

Samurai Showdown is an unique FTG which has few combos. But only using fists and swords is not boring at all. On the contrary, it is fast-paced and fun to play. I am glad that SNK brings this old-school FTG to the latest platforms.

8.3 / 10.0 - HARDCORE MECHA
Jun 27, 2019

Although there are some annoying glitches, Code: Hardcore is a satisfying action game with beautiful mechs, solid single-player campaign, and decent PVP mode.

Creative Assembly successfully combines Three Kingdoms with Total War, and using the brand-new Romance Mode, bringing us to that chaos times. For those who love Three Kingdoms or Total War series, this is no-doubt a must-try game.

8.9 / 10.0 - Mortal Kombat 11
Apr 28, 2019

I am not a huge fan of bloody violence, but I am still attracted by MK11's beautiful art style, great graphics, interesting game systems, and tons of game modes, including a very detailed teaching mode. No doubt it is the best of the whole series.

Altough I found some surprise when I played with Labo VR, it still didn't make VR more interesting, and VR still can't make Labo's mini games more playable. Just like the previous Labos, building those toys is the only time that I felt happy. But for the kids, I think it's enough.

8.7 / 10.0 - Unheard
Mar 29, 2019

I love the idea of using voices to find the truth, and I like the way that Unheard tells the story, very creative. Regrettably, the game is too easy to play, which means the puzzels are barely not challenging, and the stories are not impressive enough as well.

Before you buy Dirt Rally 2.0, ask yourself: do you have the faith to conquer this tough game? If not, this game might not suit you. It's only prepared for those who love challenges.

6.5 / 10.0 - JUMP FORCE
Feb 28, 2019

Although I found a little happiness while playing this game, it is still not a good choice for Jump fans.

8.4 / 10.0 - Trials Rising
Feb 25, 2019

No doubt, comparing to the prequel, Trials Rising has a huge leap on both map design and gameplay. In the Trials Rising, you will have plenty of new stuff to try, such as the tandem mode. But still, we found some technique issues and network lags in it too. So hope Ubisoft will fix those things in the future soon.

Whether you like it or not, Ace Combat 7 is the only choice you have if you want to play an air-battle game these years. And frankly speaking, it does a good job, although some shortcomings should have been avoided.

I love the lifestyle that My Time at Portia has shown us. I enjoyed every moment I spent there, producing products, earning money, decorating my house, and communicating with other residents. Except the low quality of voice and sound performance, this game has a lot of fun waiting for you to experience.

8.3 / 10.0 - Ashen
Jan 10, 2019

From many perspectives, Ashen reminds me of Dark Souls series, such as the combat systems, game settings and the story design. It does have some unique thoughts, like the AI teammate, but overall it doesn't make its own characteristics.

9 / 10.0 - GRIS
Dec 28, 2018

Gris creates a colorful, unique and unforgettable inner world, with a beautiful art style, and great music. Although Nomada Studio can make its game more fun to play, as the first piece of its works, Gris is still a fantastic indie game.

8 / 10.0 - Bladed Fury
Dec 24, 2018

Bladed Fury is a decent side-scrolling action game, but the content is not full enough, while the action system needs more improvements too. However, considering the low price and the product orientation, those defects are acceptable.

8.2 / 10.0 - Pokémon: Let's Go
Dec 4, 2018

Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu/Let's Go, Eevee is fun to play. It has much new design comes from Pokemon Go, which is quite suitable to traditional Pokemon series. The partner pokemon system is adorable, and can attract many casual gamers. However, comparing to the prequels, LGPE lacks many basic functions such as new pokemons and new moves. The complete version of Pokemon on NS still needs to be waited until next year.

9.2 / 10.0 - SoulCalibur VI
Oct 27, 2018

New system and new changes make SoulCalibur VI become more friendly to new players than usual, and still remains the depth of strategy. What is more, you can spend plenty of time in both singleplayer mode and multiplayer mode, because it provides so much content that you will never get bored.

7.7 / 10.0 - Phantom Doctrine
Sep 2, 2018

Although the first look of Phantom Doctrine reminded me XCOM, I still think it has some different advantages. At least, if you are a fan of spy movies, I am sure you will enjoy this game. Right now it has many flaws indeed, but developers are listening to community's opinions, and working hard to repair.

7.3 / 10.0 - We Happy Few
Aug 19, 2018

We Happy Few has an interesting storyline and attractive background settings, and the duration of the game is far beyond my expectation. But still, too many bugs make this game look terrible, and the mission design is not that rational.

8.7 / 10.0 - Octopath Traveler
Aug 6, 2018

Octopath Traveler is a classic JRPG which reminds me some former masterpieces like Romancing SaGa and Final Fantasy VI. I really appreciate the idea that using 8 characters to tell stories, and the unique talents that every character has. But I still think the storyline could be better, and these characters could have more interaction.

8.5 / 10.0 - The Banner Saga 3
Aug 1, 2018

In a despairing atmosphere, the story of The Banner Saga finally meets its end. Your choice matters, and every move of the battle matters, so choose carefully. It has some issues in some ways, but overall, The Banner Saga has become an important part of the SLG family, with its very unique art style and strategy design.
