Don't pass this one up, if you like mech-based games.

While Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream does nothing totally different as a sequel, the streamlined crafting and simplified combat system allow players to be more invested in the story without becoming bogged down in complex game mechanics. For long-time fans, however, those mechanics are still available.

8 / 10.0 - Cotton 100%
Nov 8, 2021

Cotton 100% is a fantastically fun game. The stages are way too short, though, and that's a drag given the $14.99 price tag. But is its price a show stopper? That's up to you, the consumer. Still, Cotton 100% is silly, entertaining, and gives a decent challenge to beat.

8 / 10.0 - Moon
Oct 6, 2020

Through and through, Moon is the anti-RPG. It's a satirical stab at the RPG genre. While it could have been better with a more updated look, I still find this game innovative and fresh even by today's standards. It's cute and funny and fun to play. If you're looking for a laid-back RPG, this is it. Moon is a title that reviews can't do justice to; it has to be played to really appreciate what the developers were trying to do.

Other than the original Darius and Sagaia, these games are a great way to play a series of seriously challenging arcade shmups from the past where arcades ruled.

8 / 10.0 - Monster Viator
Apr 29, 2020

All in all, I can't hate on this game. The story's interesting and keeps you going; if nothing else to see what happens to the spoiled prince. Overall, KEMCO has another nice entry on the Nintendo Switch eShop. Play Monster Viator for a sense of what I described.

8 / 10.0 - La-Mulana
Apr 8, 2020

No, I didn't chuck my controller as I've grown up. However, I still say the game cheats. That aside, LA-MULANA has a ton of playability as you try to find hidden shops and solve the puzzles. It is not the best game on the Switch, but it is a lot of fun. It would be a shame to pass up this little hidden gem.

If you already own some of these, or if crafting isn't your cup of tea, that's something to consider. But if you're an RPG fan, the Atelier Dusk Trilogy Deluxe Pack is well worth the time and money spent, and will be enjoyed.

It will keep you busy for hours trying to craft better gear and foraging throughout the map for that much-needed material. Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout is a cutesy, time-consuming monster for the Switch, and it's worth getting.

All things considered, there is nothing that really negativity impacts these three games to a great degree. They have hours of solid gameplay, challenge, and fun made even better by VASARA 3's four-player co-op. Having one great shooter is cool, having three in one bundle is epic. I tip my hat to the developers and publishers for some great arcade ports For genre fans, these make very good additions to the Switch's library.

Fin and the Ancient Mystery will keep you playing for hours trying to get 100% on all levels. Honestly, this game was a lot of fun to review, it had a decent story and fun puzzles. For the price, it's a no brainer to pick up and not regret.

I've honestly had a lot of fun reviewing Volgarr the Viking. Sadly it comes at the close of the life of the Wii U (It's also available on the Switch). However, in my opinion, it's an instant classic, which coming from a homebrew developer that is excellent.

The Swords Of Ditto: Mormo's Curse a very fun RPG that's well thought out and excellently put together. For RPG and Zelda fans, this is a must-have for a modern take on a retro theme.

10 / 10.0 - Streets of Rage 4

From great musical and visual presentation, to smooth fluid gameplay and unlockable content, bundled with online co-op play, Streets of Rage 4 is an absolute blast to play. Not disappointing in the least, it's more than just the finest addition to the series; it's the best in the genre, in my opinion.

10 / 10.0 - Northgard
Oct 17, 2019

Northgard is a fantastic, well put together title. I found it to be challenging enough to keep me at it, but not over the top and unbalanced. Vikings conquering, smashing, and crushing enemies is a lot of fun! Get this game if you're an RTS fan, it's a must-have.
