9 / 10.0 - Hollow Knight
Jul 17, 2018

Hollow Knight is an outstanding game about exploration that's a joy to play, look at, and listen to. Offering tens of hours of superb gameplay, this release is easily worth the asking price and I encourage anyone who enjoys exploration to buy it, with the only exception being those who are particularly deterred by challenging games.

8 / 10.0 - Tricky Towers
Oct 23, 2018

Overall Tricky Towers is an excellent idea, generally well executed, with a few areas that could use improvement. Ultimately though, it's fun to play alone, with friends, or with strangers, and puzzle game fans will no doubt find many hours of enjoyment.

The storytelling is where WILL: A Wonderful World shines best, especially when multiple character's stories begin to overlap, showing the same scenes, but from different perspectives.

Were this release packed tighter with content it would be an easier recommendation. But, so long as game length and gameplay are not primary concerns, this story is worth considering for those eager for narrative-driven games, and who especially enjoy an interesting cast of characters,

7.5 / 10.0 - Bomber Crew
Aug 15, 2018

Bomber Crew is an immersive RAF Bomber RTS which will thrill fans of the genre, the crew management concept, and the WW2 time period. It features fun and engaging gameplay which is likely to feel fresh for a solid 10 hours, but to some, not much more. RTS fans may wish to wait for a small price drop from $15, but anyone enticed by the whole premise, and doesn't mind repetition, wouldn't go wrong at the full price either.

If you're looking for a fun puzzle game that can conveniently be played with a touch screen only, no Joy-Con needed, Swap This! will provide at least a good couple of hours of fun.

7 / 10.0 - Dragon Sinker
Apr 2, 2018

A well-crafted RPG experience that trims a lot of the fat and focusses on its solid combat system. If reduced to $10 I would recommend it to anyone looking for a turn-based retro style RPG that won't take more than 10-15 hours of their time.

GRIP Combat Racing was as much a battle between myself and the game as it was between my car and rival racers, which is a shame because when it works, it works splendidly. It's fortunate that at least the game's issues could all be resolved with further patches, potentially leaving us with an excellent racer on the Nintendo Switch, but as it stands now, the game is flawed and is hard to justify at full price.

A solid foundation that's fun to improve your skills at and is ideal to quickly load up for a couple of minutes at a time. With more content and shinier polish, this game might have been easier to justifiable at its current price

5.5 / 10.0 - Bouncy Bob
May 25, 2018

Bouncy Bob's cumbersome movement combined with remarkably fast-moving enemies makes the game difficult to recommend to most people. But anyone with large amounts of patience who's searching for a strategic platformer with simple controls will enjoy the game. Despite its already low price, the amount of content in the game is still very thin so anyone interested in buying should wait for a sale

Only gamers who specifically love dungeon crawling and the 1600s Japan setting should keep an eye out for this game during a 50% or higher price drop. Others will likely be frustrated by long and repetitive combat in a generally very repetitive game.

There was potential in Gate of Doom. I almost want to go back and play it again now, but when I remember how frustrating it is, seemingly designed to kill me as many times as possible, I decide against doing so.
