So, what would a game combining Forza Horizon, Burnout and Trackmania look like? Exactly like Wreckreation. It's not revolutionary, but it's a well-executed and fun mix with a strong sense of speed.

The Outer Worlds 2 builds on Obsidian's strengths: an authentic, smaller-scale RPG full of possibilities, with satire and moral decisions. Rather than competing with open-world giants in terms of scope, it emphasises its system, humour, and detail. If you enjoyed the first game or New Vegas, you will get exactly what you would expect from Obsidian here, only in a slightly bigger and prettier package, with a little more depth. It's Obsidian's most extensive RPG in this style yet.

PowerWash Simulator 2, as a sequel to the original, doesn't disappoint, but it doesn't blow you away either. It brings more or less the same thing with new scenes and a few improvements. It's still the original relaxing game without stress and with a lot of work.

EA is trying to get the Battlefield brand back on track and it's going in the right direction. They may not have nailed it on their first try, but they have a good foundation.

Dying Light: The Beast is a smaller but enjoyable addition to the series, with the return of Kyle Crane and the new mountain setting of Castor Woods. There's nothing groundbreaking here, but it's a very good amalgamation of everything we've seen in previous Dying Light games.

There's a reason why Hollow Knight: Silksong is such a highly anticipated and hyped title. And rightly so. While the game is enjoyable, the difficulty level may be too high for some players, and the map can sometimes feel chaotic.

Ubisoft has brought the first, more realistic and dramatic DLC to the story of Nao and Yasuke in Claws of Awaji. You get a new small island with a short side story, a few nice missions and a new weapon. It's just a very basic content offer for the expansion and the whole thing sounds so much poorer in terms of story.

Cronos: The New Dawn is a retrofuturistic horror-action game with tense survival combat, atmospheric world design, and rewarding upgrades. Its slow-paced storytelling and eerie soundscape build tension, delivering a gripping 15-hour experience, though scarce ammo, frequent deaths, and tough bosses can feel punishing. A demanding but memorable journey for fans of atmospheric survival horror.

Mafia: The Old Country continues in the story-driven style of Mafia 1 and 2, but serves as a prequel set in early 1900s Sicily. It follows the rise of Enzo within a local crime family, with a focus on narrative, grounded combat, and atmospheric world-building.

F1 25 represents a nice evolutionary step forward in the series, it's not a leap, but a step in the right direction - it expands the modes to include links to the upcoming film, adapts My Team to a management form, and most importantly improves the driving physics.

Roadcraft is surprisingly deep and well-made. While different from MudRunner or SnowRunner, it can still appeal to their fans as well as newcomers interested in construction and heavy machinery. The dynamic mud system remains fun, and the visuals and technical scenarios impress. Some tasks do get repetitive over time, and a bit more automation could help'but overall, it's a solid construction sim in tough terrain.

Assassin's Creed Shadows takes players to historical Japan, featuring two distinct protagonists ' the shinobi Naoe and the samurai Yasuke ' each with unique gameplay styles and compelling stories. The game builds on the RPG elements of Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla while streamlining mechanics and introducing a new main menu that connects multiple Assassin's Creed titles. With no limitations from last-gen consoles, it delivers a richly detailed world, dynamic weather, and brutal combat, though it doesn't bring major innovations to the series.

Rebellion knows how to make quality games, even though they didn't even try to bring something new in the latest Sniper Elite: Resistance, rather they wanted to quickly offer a smaller supplement for fans of the series.

Flight Simulator 2024 is an interesting title not only for aviation enthusiasts, but also for players who want to explore the world from above and admire its beauty. The new title has many attractive features, such as photography, different pilot jobs and new types of aircraft, including balloons and airships. It's just a shame that the game often uploads additional data.

Stalker 2 brings the series into the modern era with stunning visuals while staying true to its hardcore FPS roots. The game retains what made the series unique, with difficult action, expansive environments and a rich story. However, minor issues such as weaker animations, AI and minor bugs detract from the experience.

Overall, the Horizon: Zero Dawn Remaster is the kind of bonus that didn't really need to be there. Visually, the title has been brought into the present day, but not everything has been improved. It's a shame, perhaps, that gameplay elements or expanded content aren't also improved to give original players more incentive to upgrade.

Overall, we got a surprisingly good Call of Duty this year, and it's exactly what the series needed after the last very weak Modern Warfare III installment. It offers a very impressive campaign with some unique missions, but also a nice return of the zombies back to the basics of attacking in waves, and the massive multiplayer part has been brought to life nicely by omnimovement.

Overall, The Lake House is a nice expansion, it doesn't offer much of a story of its own, but it's rich with connections and hints of where Control 2 will go. Ultimately, getting players ready for Control 2 is also the goal of the expansion. Don't expect much else from it.

Overall, Until Dawn remaster is a nice atmospheric slasher horror, well complemented by plenty of choices that can motivate you to play the game again. Although it is a walking simulator genre, it stands out in comparison to most similar titles with its cast and more cinematic style.

Overall, Shattered Space is a decent expansion that introduces a deep story along with a dark planet featuring larger quests and new enemies. While it's enjoyable, it doesn't bring anything groundbreaking and feels more like an additional dose of the familiar rather than offering something truly new to the game.
