Touhou Luna Nights takes the visual style of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and mixes in a unique blend of puzzle-based exploration and combat to create one brilliant Metroidvania. I highly recommend it to any fan of the genre.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 proves that video games aren't really getting much better than what was around at the turn of the millennium. In fact, the amount of fun to be had here makes most modern games feel sterile and unstimulating in comparison.

The story campaign in Marvel's Avengers is a wonderful treat for fans of Marvel as it's full of superhero fun. Beyond that, the experience unfortunately doesn't quite maintain its level of excitement in its multiplayer component.

Its premise is incredibly promising yet Kandagawa Jet Girls does nothing but disappoint with its monotonously slow racing that feels like it's aimed towards small children but should kids really play a game with excessive thong shots and bouncing boobs? Probably not.
