I had a great time with Tiny Witch and for such a cute game, it certainly doesn't mess around so if you love optimising efficiency, check it out.
LEGO Voyagers is an unforgettably lovely co-op adventure that's filled with heart, rewarding puzzles, and light platforming. It can be frustrating and a bit tedious at times but overall, there's so much variety and fun to be had that I still highly recommend playing it.
I can't believe how much better Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter looks, sounds, and plays compared to the original. It may not be as epic as some of the more recent games but what's here is certainly charming and satisfying enough for any RPG fan to easily fall in love with it.
Donkey Kong Bananza: DK Island & Emerald Rush is such an exciting chunk of DLC that breathes new life into an already incredible experience. From chilling at DK Island to frantically punching everything in sight during Emerald Rush, you'll have a barrel of fun.
Class of Heroes 3 Remaster may not be a massive step up from its predecessors but one thing's for sure: if you love old-school dungeon crawlers then you'll thoroughly enjoy discovering its copious amounts of rewarding content. Plus, the characters are so cute!
Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion is full of customisable mech combat and striking environments to explore. However, its gratifying combat is often contrasted with its sporadic pacing and generic story and characters. It's still a lot of fun, though, if you care about that sort of thing.
DRAGON BALL GEKISHIN SQUADRA is one of my new favourite online multiplayer games thanks to its incredibly fun and frantic large-scale battles that keep you strategising and forging ahead while taking in the awesome sights and sounds which will make any fan light up.
Lost Soul Aside certainly has a lot going for it with its incredibly enjoyable combat, stunning environments, sense of variety, and oodles of upgrade opportunities. However, if you're looking for an immersive story or memorable characters, it will surely disappoint. đ
The blend of twin-stick shooting and tower defense makes Otherwar an enjoyable yet standard-feeling formula that becomes repetitive quick. đ
Hirogami may not be for everyone but I loved its papercraft game world and entertaining transformations that really liven up the gameplay. đ
Whether you're playing it cooperatively or competing with chums, there's so much joy in playing Fling to the Finish that you're bound to love it. đ
If The Knightling smoothed its annoying aspects out while making its gameplay feel more distinct, it would be a pretty good game for sure. đĄī¸
It may not be what you'd expect from a Metroidvania yet Adventure of Samsara is jam-packed with retro challenge and rewarding exploration.
I had a lovely time with EVERYBODY'S GOLF HOT SHOTS and its adorably energetic game world that's filled with bubbly characters and accessible gameplay that anyone can easily enjoy. So, if you're up for a game of golf, why not give it a go? đī¸ââī¸
2D action games don't get much better than what Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced has in store so if you're an old-school gamer, you have to play these games. There may not be much new for fans but this is still a phenomenal package nonetheless. âĄ
Toaplan Arcade Collection Vol. 2 may be a less varied compilation but the amount of shoot 'em up fun to be had is still incredible so limber those thumbs up because your skills will be put to the test for sure. đŠī¸
Shantae Advance: Risky Revolution does so much right that it's easily one of the best games that the franchise has ever had. It just goes to show that old-school approaches to making a memorable game doesn't mean that its quality will suffer. đ§ââī¸
When it comes to games based on movies, Turbo Kid is certainly one of the best as it carries on the indie heart of its inspiration wonderfully. đ´ââī¸
Robots at Midnight is a short and rather basic Soulslike with its impressive character and enemy designs being the stars of the show. đ¤
As a unique blend of visual novel and action RPG, Noctuary is one of my favourite recent indies and I'll be thinking about it for a long time. â¨
