Atari 50: The Namco Legendary Pack

Critic Reviews for Atari 50: The Namco Legendary Pack
Atari 50: THE NAMCO LEGENDARY PACK is one of the best retro expansions out there with its historical value and selection of console ports. 🕹️
If you have the Atari 50 Base Game, then you MUST grab this add on! It is extremely fantastic to have these games in the already great collection and make the base game feel more complete. Despite any insignificant gripes I may have, this is a must own add on to an already fantastic collection! Download now and dive back into the world of Atari!
The Namco Legendary Pack is a very important chapter in Atari's 50-year history, and this expansion treats it with the respect and care it deserves. It's another great addition to the collection's vast library of classics, and it sets a huge precedent for other companies to also bring their gems from that era to this near-perfect set.

I won’t go so far as to call The Namco Legendary Pack a must-purchase. The history captured here isn’t unique enough for that, especially when you consider only a handful of playable games have been added to the overall package. Still, what’s here is interesting, well presented, and offered at a reasonable price for the couple of hours of education and entertainment it can provide. If you’re a fan of Namco’s earliest works, it’s worth the price of admission.
There wouldn’t be an Atari without the ports to some of Namco’s most popular arcade releases as Atari 50: The Namco Legendary Pack shows.
As much as the lack of Tengen history or Pole Position sucks, The Namco Legendary Pack is still a fun batch of scorechaser ports with some fun programming history to go along with it, and one I definitely found myself enjoying more than The First Console War.
