Super Mario RPG is such a nice rarity - it retains the gameplay and quality of an honest-to-goodness RPG from the 90s, and gets a new visual coat and nice controls. Although it will take some getting used to in the first few hours, you'll get the hang of it and then you won't put the game down so easily.

Unexpectedly good ones include delving into underground levels, embarking on Night Time Expeditions, riding on the back of Oatchi, and discovering new Pikmin units. The genre of crime stories visual novels is alive and if you want to deep dive into demanding cases, you have a very good chance here. There is a strong script with excellent characters, tricky murders and strong investigation. The overall Atmosphere, places and music are helping a lot too.

Sword and Fairy: Together Forever is a proof that Chinese studio can bring fast-paced action RPG with different Asian flavour. There are long cutscenes worth watching and solid combat system with engaging characters and their skills. What a fine alternative bringing also good plot from different mythology!

Return of Advance Wars is great news. After 20 years you have compilation of two catchy strategies with vast amount of gameplay. Both campaigns are a bit uneven (favoring the second one), but good tutorials and fast pace will help you. Jumping difficulty could be challenge but overall you have a classic Nintendo package not to miss.

If you overcome rough presentation, low-res cut-scenes and a bit clunky interface, you can expect very solid plot, excellent characters, party banter, interesting world and intense boss fights. Still, this title is not fully fulfilling remaster promise and many fans expected a bit more.
